不過我們以為從你本人聽聽你所思想的、倒很值當；因為關於這派別、據我們所知道、它是各處受抨擊的。』

他們卻越極力地說：『他鼓勵民眾，沿全猶太教訓人，從加利利起，直到這裏了。』

我下來、是要援救他們脫離埃及人的手，領他們出那地，上美好寬闊之地，流奶與蜜之地，迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人的地方。現在你看，以色列人的哀叫聲已經到達了我了；埃及人怎樣壓迫他們、我也看見了。

迦流做亞該亞院省長的時候，猶太人同心合意地起來攻擊保羅，帶他到審判臺前，說：『這個人煽動人違背律法地敬拜上帝。』

這天國的福音必須宣傳在普天下，對萬國作見證；然後末終才來到。

喊着說：『以色列人哪，援助吧！這個人就是在各處教訓眾人反對我們的人民、我們的律法和這聖地的。不但如此，他竟帶了希利尼人進殿，使這聖地俗污呢！』原來他們已先看見以弗所人特羅非摩同保羅在城裏，就以為保羅帶他進了殿。全城都搖動了，民眾一齊跑來，拉住保羅，拖他出殿，所有的門立刻關起來。他們正想法子要殺他的時候，就有話傳上去、到營部的千夫長那裏，說全耶路撒冷都紛亂了。

眾人直聽保羅、聽到這句話，就提高了聲音說：『這樣的人、該從地上除掉！他不該活着。』又直喧嚷，向空中拋擲衣裳，撒飛塵。

他們又聳動了人民、長老和經學士、突然而來、抓住司提反，把他帶到議院，並且設下假見證說：『這個人不停地講話、蹧踐這聖地和律法。

伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝打發人去見以色列王耶羅波安說：『阿摩司在以色列家中圖謀背叛了你；他所說的一切話、這國擔當不起。
