Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said,“ The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.”

Some of the believers were Pharisees. They stood up and said,“ The Gentiles must be circumcised. They must obey the law of Moses.”

But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said,“ It is necessary to circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”

But then some of the believers who belonged to the sect of the Pharisees stood up and insisted,“ The Gentile converts must be circumcised and required to follow the law of Moses.”

But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying,“ It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”

有數人來自猶太、訓諸兄弟曰、苟不依摩西例受割、不能得救也、

我生八日而受割、屬以色列裔、便雅憫支、世為希伯來人、依律則為法利賽人、依熱衷則窘逐教會、依律中之義、則無間然、但昔於我為益者、我緣基督以之為損、我誠以萬事為損、因識我主基督耶穌為更美、且為彼已損萬事、視為糞土、致可得乎基督、而恆在其中、

蓋聞數人出自我中、以言擾爾、傾陷爾心、然非我儕所命、

基督既釋我儕而得自由、故宜堅立、勿再負為僕之軛、我保羅語爾、若受割、則基督於爾無益、我復證之、凡受割者、宜行全律、

彼儻肯作證、則知我自始依我教至嚴之門、為法利賽人也、今我立而被鞫、乃為望上帝所許於列祖者、

蓋我儕見此人如癘疫、於天下猶太人中滋亂、為拿撒勒黨之首、

眾聞之、歸榮上帝、謂保羅曰、兄弟、爾見猶太信者數萬、皆熱衷守律、
