Then he went on to Derbe and Lystra, where there was a disciple named Timothy, the son of a believing Jewish woman, but his father was a Greek.The brothers at Lystra and Iconium spoke highly of him.Paul wanted Timothy to go with him, so he took him and circumcised him because of the Jews who were in those places, since they all knew that his father was a Greek.

All those who are with me greet you. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with all of you.

But by God’s grace I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not ineffective. However, I worked more than any of them, yet not I, but God’s grace that was with me.

Both Judas and Silas, who were also prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers and strengthened them with a long message.
