两个人知道了，就逃往利考尼亚地区的路司得和代尔贝两个城以及周围地区，

保罗到达代尔贝城，又到了路司得城。当时，那里有一个名叫提摩太的门徒，是一个信主的犹太妇人的儿子，他父亲是希腊人。

找到了，就带他到安提阿来。然后有整整一年，两个人与会众聚在一起，教导了一大群人。门徒们第一次被称为“基督徒”是在安提阿。

有一个名叫犹图克斯的年轻人坐在窗台上，陷入了沉睡。保罗又讲论了很久，犹图克斯在沉睡中从三楼掉了下去，被扶起来的时候，已经死了。保罗下去，伏在他身上，抱着他说：“不要慌乱，他的灵魂还在身上！”保罗再上去，掰饼吃了，又交谈了许久，直到天亮才出发。他们把那活生生的年轻人带走，并且受到了不少的安慰。

然而我们在自己里面已经承受了死亡的判决，好让我们不依靠自己，而依靠那使死人复活的神。他救我们脱离了如此致命的危险，并且将来要救我们——我们盼望他将来还要救我们。

骚乱平息以后，保罗请门徒们来，鼓励一番，然后与他们告别，就出发往马其顿省去了。

两个人在那里与门徒们一起住了不少时候。

保罗和赛拉斯出了监狱，就到莉迪娅家里去，见了弟兄们，鼓励他们一番，然后离开了。

像是人所不知的，却是人所共知的；像是快要死的，可是看哪，我们是活着的；像是受惩罚的，却是不被治死；

彼得挥一下手叫他们安静，告诉他们主怎样领他出了监狱，又说：“你们把这些事告诉雅各和弟兄们。”然后他就出发，往别的地方去了。

他们做完了见证以后，那从无底坑里上来的兽将与他们作战，并且将胜过他们，把他们杀死。他们的尸体会被抛在大城的街道上。这大城按属灵的意思叫做所多玛，又叫做埃及，也就是他们的主被钉十字架的地方。来自各民族、各支派、各语言群体和各国家的人，都要观看他们的尸体三天半，又不准人把他们的尸体安放在坟墓里。住在地上的人都因他们的死而欢喜、庆祝，并且要彼此送礼，因为这两位先知曾使住在地上的人受痛苦。可是三天半之后，有从神而来的生命气息进入他们里面，他们就站立起来了。于是强烈的恐惧临到那些观看他们的人。随后，两位先知听见一个大声音从天上传来，对他们说：“上到这里来！”他们就在云中升到天上去了，他们的敌人也看见了。

坚固门徒们的心，鼓励他们持守信仰，说：“我们进入神的国，必须经过很多患难。”
