打了很多棍，就把他们放在监牢里，吩咐狱吏严密看守。狱吏领了命令，就把他们押入内监，两脚拴了木狗。

彼得说：“主啊！我已经准备好要跟你一同下监，一同死。”

王旨交给众驿使传到王的各省，吩咐要在一日之内，在十二月，就是亚达月十三日，把所有的犹大人，无论老少妇孺，都全部毁灭、杀绝、除尽，并且抢夺他们的财产。

不过他们说：“不可在节期下手，免得引起民众暴动。”

于是下手拿住使徒，把他们押在公共拘留所里。

行了你手和你旨意所预定要成就的一切。
