千夫长准了。保罗就站在台阶上，向百姓摆手，他们都静默无声，保罗便用希伯来话对他们说：

有人把亚历山大从众人中带出来，犹太人推他往前，亚历山大就摆手，要向百姓分诉；

他们住了声，雅各就说：“诸位弟兄，请听我的话。

又知道所赐给我的恩典，那称为教会柱石的雅各、矶法、约翰，就向我和巴拿巴用右手行相交之礼，叫我们往外邦人那里去，他们往受割礼的人那里去。

从雅各那里来的人未到以先，他和外邦人一同吃饭，及至他们来到，他因怕奉割礼的人，就退去与外邦人隔开了。

第二天，保罗同我们去见雅各；长老们也都在那里。

至于别的使徒，除了主的兄弟雅各，我都没有看见。

以后显给雅各看，再显给众使徒看，

这事以后，耶稣在加利利游行，不愿在犹太游行，因为犹太人想要杀他。

及至他出来，不能和他们说话，他们就知道他在殿里见了异象；因为他直向他们打手式，竟成了哑巴。

二人出了监，往吕底亚家里去，见了弟兄们，劝慰他们一番，就走了。

凡敬畏神的人，你们都来听！我要述说他为我所行的事。

我要在他众民面前向耶和华还我的愿。在耶和华眼中，看圣民之死极为宝贵。

有人在这城里逼迫你们，就逃到那城里去。我实在告诉你们，以色列的城邑，你们还没有走遍，人子就到了。

要垂听被囚之人的叹息，要释放将要死的人，使人在锡安传扬耶和华的名，在耶路撒冷传扬赞美他的话，

所以，耶稣不再显然行在犹太人中间，就离开那里往靠近旷野的地方去，到了一座城，名叫以法莲，就在那里和门徒同住。

西门彼得点头对他说：“你告诉我们，主是指着谁说的。”

于是他们拿石头要打他；耶稣却躲藏，从殿里出去了。

作神和主耶稣基督仆人的雅各请散住十二个支派之人的安。

耶稣又往约旦河外去，到了约翰起初施洗的地方，就住在那里。

他为受屈的伸冤，赐食物与饥饿的。耶和华释放被囚的；

但愿人因耶和华的慈爱和他向人所行的奇事都称赞他。愿他们以感谢为祭献给他，欢呼述说他的作为！
