You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,

But you know all about my teaching. You know how I live and what I live for. You know about my faith and love. You know how patient I am. You know I haven’t given up.

You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness,

But you, Timothy, certainly know what I teach, and how I live, and what my purpose in life is. You know my faith, my patience, my love, and my endurance.

But ye know the proof of him, that, as a child serveth a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the gospel.

If thou put the brethren in mind of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith, and of the good doctrine which thou hast followed until now:

in all things showing thyself an ensample of good works; in thy doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity,

Be not carried away by divers and strange teachings: for it is good that the heart be established by grace; not by meats, wherein they that occupied themselves were not profited.

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an ensample to them that believe, in word, in manner of life, in love, in faith, in purity.Till I come, give heed to reading, to exhortation, to teaching.

who, when he was come, and had seen the grace of God, was glad; and he exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord:

Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in your virtue knowledge;and in your knowledge self- control; and in your self- control patience; and in your patience godliness;and in your godliness brotherly kindness; and in your brotherly kindness love.

it seemed good to me also, having traced the course of all things accurately from the first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus;

When I therefore was thus minded, did I show fickleness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be the yea yea and the nay nay?

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them that are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned: and turn away from them.

Seeing that these things are thus all to be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy living and godliness,

how that our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; even as ye know what manner of men we showed ourselves toward you for your sake.

but in everything commending ourselves, as ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in watchings, in fastings;in pureness, in knowledge, in longsuffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love unfeigned,in the word of truth, in the power of God; by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,by glory and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.

For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread and the prayers.

Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness:that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.

My manner of life then from my youth up, which was from the beginning among mine own nation and at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;

But flee youthful lusts, and follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the king’s dainties, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
