So in the same way at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.And if it is by grace, it is no longer by works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

for the law made nothing perfect. On the other hand a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

We have come to know love by this: that Jesus laid down his life for us; thus we ought to lay down our lives for our fellow Christians.

But we passionately want each of you to demonstrate the same eagerness for the fulfillment of your hope until the end,so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherit the promises.

Dear friends, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet been revealed. We know that whenever it is revealed we will be like him, because we will see him just as he is.And everyone who has this hope focused on him purifies himself, just as Jesus is pure).
