我因上帝在基督耶穌裏所賜給你們的恩常常為你們感謝上帝，

以色列的後裔都必靠着永恆主而得勝，而誇耀。』

你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩：他本來富足，卻為了你們的緣故成為貧窮，使你們因着他的貧窮成為富足。

而常在他裏面；不是有我自己的義、那以律法為本的義，乃是有那憑着信基督的義、那由上帝而來、以信為條件的義；

亞伯拉罕一定成為又大又強盛之國；地上萬國都必用他的名而給自己祝福。

使他們都合而為一，正如父你在我裏面，我也在你裏面，使他們也在我們裏面，叫世人相信是你差遣了我。你所給了我的榮耀、我已經給了他們，使他們都合而為一，正如我們原本為一；我在他們裏面，而你在我裏面，使他們完完全全合而為一；叫世人知道是你差遣了我，並愛了他們，正如愛了我一樣。『父啊，你所給了我的、願我在哪裏，他們也同我在哪裏，使他們瞻仰我的榮耀、就是你所給了我的，因為世界創立以前，你已經愛了我。義的父啊，世人沒認識過你，我卻認識了你，這些人也知道是你差遣了我。我已經將你的名使他們認識，還要使認識，使你那愛了我的盛愛能在他們裏面，我也在他們裏面。』

一聽見永恆主的話、就戰戰兢兢的人哪，你們聽永恆主的話吧！『你們的弟兄、那些恨惡你們、使你們為我名的緣故被趕逐的、曾譏笑說：「願永恆主得榮耀啊！讓我們看看你們的喜樂啊！」其實呢、蒙羞抱愧的倒是這種人呢！

但以色列卻要靠着永遠的救恩在永恆主裏蒙拯救：你們必不失望，不狼狽，直到永永遠遠。

因此上帝也將他升為至高，將那超乎萬名之上的名賜給他，叫一切在天上的、在地上的、和地底下的、一聽見耶穌的名、眾膝無不屈跪，眾舌無不稱認耶穌基督為主、以彰顯父上帝的榮耀。

他固然由於軟弱而被釘十字架，卻由於上帝之大能力仍然活着。我們呢、我們在他裏面雖也軟弱，但由於上帝之大能力、我們卻要和他一同活着來服事你們。
