In view of this, we always pray for you that our God will make you worthy of his calling, and by his power fulfill your every desire to do good and your work produced by faith,

因此吾儕不輟為爾祈禱、求我天主使爾無忝聖召；運其宏能、成爾善志；施其化工、充爾信德：

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may bring to fruition your every desire for goodness and your every deed prompted by faith.

Keeping this in mind, we never stop praying for you. Our God has chosen you. We pray that he will make you worthy of his choice. We pray he will make every good thing you want to do come true. We pray that he will do this by his power. We pray that he will make perfect all that you have done by faith.

To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power,

So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.

To this end also we pray for you always, that our God will consider you worthy of your calling, and fulfill every desire for goodness and the work of faith with power,

For this reason also, since the day we heard this, we haven’t stopped praying for you. We are asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,so that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God,being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, so that you may have great endurance and patience, joyfullygiving thanks to the Father, who has enabled you to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light.He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.

keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

How can we thank God for you in return for all the joy we experience before our God because of you,as we pray very earnestly night and day to see you face to face and to complete what is lacking in your faith?Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you.And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for one another and for everyone, just as we do for you.May he make your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints. I never stop giving thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.

I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love,may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love,and to know Christ’s love that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.Now to him who is able to do above and beyond all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us—to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in telling the good news about his Son— that I constantly mention you,

The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while.

The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.

Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.

Let’s strive to know the LORD. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.

I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment,so that you may approve the things that are superior and may be pure and blameless in the day of Christ,filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

“ Will I bring a baby to the point of birth and not deliver it?” says the LORD;“ or will I who deliver, close the womb?” says your God.

On that day it will be said,“ Look, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he has saved us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him. Let’s rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”

If the God we serve exists, then he can rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and he can rescue us from the power of you, the king.

Let the wicked one abandon his way and the sinful one his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, so he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will freely forgive.
