He put garrisons in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and the Arameans became subject to him and brought tribute. The Lord gave David victory wherever he went.

He stationed some soldiers in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus. The people of Aram were brought under his rule. They gave him the gifts he required them to bring him. The Lord helped David win his battles everywhere he went.

Then David put garrisons in Aram of Damascus, and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. And the Lord gave victory to David wherever he went.

Then he placed several army garrisons in Damascus, the Aramean capital, and the Arameans became David’s subjects and paid him tribute money. So the Lord made David victorious wherever he went.

你无论到哪里去，我都与你同在；我必在你面前剪除你所有的仇敌。我要使你得享大名，像世上那些伟人的名一样。

约拿单攻打非利士人在迦巴的驻军，非利士人听见了；扫罗就在全地吹角，说：“让希伯来人都听见。”

约拿单对替他拿武器的仆人说：“来！我们过到这些未受割礼的人的驻军那里去，也许耶和华会为我们动工，因为不论人多或人少，都不能妨碍耶和华施行拯救。”

愿所有投靠你的人都喜乐，常常欢呼；愿你保护他们，又愿爱你名的人，因你欢乐。耶和华啊！因为你必赐福给义人，你要以恩惠像盾牌四面护卫他。

耶和华要保护你脱离一切灾祸，他要保护你的性命。你出你入，耶和华要保护你，从现在直到永远。

他教导我的手怎样作战，又使我的手臂可以拉开铜弓。你把你救恩的盾牌赐给我，你的右手扶持我，你的温柔使我昌大。你使我脚底下的路径宽阔，我的两膝没有动摇。我追赶仇敌，把他们追上；不消灭他们，我必不归回。我重创他们，使他们不能起来；他们都倒在我的脚下。你以能力给我束腰，使我能够作战；你又使那些起来攻击我的人都屈服在我的脚下。你使我的仇敌在我面前转背逃跑，使我可以歼灭恨我的人。他们呼叫，却没有人拯救；就算向耶和华呼求，他也不答应他们。我捣碎他们，像风前的尘土，我倾倒他们，像街上的烂泥。你救我脱离了人民的争竞，你立我作列国的元首；我不认识的人民要服事我。他们一听见，就服从我；外族人都向我假意归顺。外族人大势已去，战战兢兢地从他们的要塞走出来。耶和华是永活的，我的磐石是应当称颂的，拯救我的神是应当被尊为至高的。

大卫在以东设立驻防营，所有以东人就都臣服大卫。大卫无论到什么地方去，耶和华都使他得胜。

马是为打仗之日预备的，胜利却在于耶和华。

有一天，扫罗的儿子约拿单对替他拿武器的仆人说：“来！我们过到非利士人的驻军那边去吧。”但他没有告诉父亲。

于是在营房里，在田野中和在众人中间，都有恐慌，驻军和突击队也都恐惧，地也震动，这是从神而来的恐惧。

现在可以实现了！因为耶和华曾经论到大卫说：‘我要藉着我的仆人大卫的手，把我的子民以色列从非利士人和他们所有敌人的手中拯救出来。’”

耶和华我的磐石是应当称颂的。他教导我的手作战，训练我的指头打仗。（本节在《马索拉文本》包括细字标题）他是我慈爱的神、我的堡垒、我的高台、我的救主、我的盾牌、我所投靠的，他使我的人民服在我以下。

他把军队安置在犹大的一切设防城里，又在犹大地和他父亲亚撒占领的以法莲各城里驻扎防军。

主耶和华，拯救我的力量啊，在争战的日子，你保护了我的头。

他又击败摩押人，使他们躺在地上，用绳子量他们，把量两绳的杀死，让量一绳的存活。这样，摩押人就臣服大卫，给他进贡。

那时大卫在山寨中，非利士人的驻军却在伯利恒。
