往告我僕大衛曰、耶和華云、爾為我建室以居乎、

爾往諭我僕大衛曰、主如是云、建造殿宇為我居處、豈爾所可乎、或作爾欲建殿為我居乎

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord says: Are you the one to build me a house to dwell in?

“ Go and speak to my servant David. Tell him,‘ The Lord says,“ Are you the one to build me a house to live in?

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord: Would you build me a house to dwell in?

“ Go to My servant David and say,‘ This is what the Lord says: Are you to build a house for Me to live in?

“ Go, tell my servant David:‘ This is what the LORD says: Do you really intend to build a house for me to live in?

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ Yahweh says,“ Should you build me a house for me to dwell in?

昔我父大闢、四方戰鬥、未蒙耶和華服諸敵於足下、故不得建殿、以籲其上帝耶和華之名、乃爾所知。今我上帝耶和華錫我綏安、曠觀四方、無敵無殃。

所許之言曰、自耶和華導以色列民、出埃及以來、迄於今日、未嘗於以色列支派中、遴選一邑、使人建殿、為籲名之所、惟簡大闢、治理我民。我父大闢意欲建殿、奉事以色列族之上帝耶和華、以籲其名。耶和華諭之曰、爾意欲建殿、為籲我名之所、此舉甚善。然爾不得建殿、惟爾一脈之裔、必建殿、以籲我名。
