王居宮室、耶和華錫以綏安、得免四周諸敵之擾、

惟彼忘其上帝耶和華、耶和華付之於夏瑣軍長西西拉、及非利士人、與摩押王之手、遂與之戰、爾祖籲耶和華曰、我干罪戾、因離棄耶和華、事諸巴力、與亞斯他錄、今求拯我於敵手、我必事爾、耶和華遣耶路巴力、比但、耶弗他、及撒母耳、援爾於四周敵人之手、爾則安居、

萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝歟、既啟示爾僕曰、我必為爾建立家室、故爾僕敢以此而求、

耶和華怒以色列族、付於虜者之手、鬻於四周之敵、使不能禦之、無論何往、耶和華以災禍擊之、如其誓言、民極困苦、耶和華興起士師、拯民於虜者之手、

及我命士師治我民以色列時、我必服爾諸敵、且我告爾、耶和華必為爾建立家室、

爾若聽我所命、從我之道、行我所悅、守我典章誡命、如我僕大衛所為、我必偕爾、為爾建鞏固之家室、如為大衛所建、且以以色列族畀爾、

我與所簡之人立約、對於我僕大衛宣誓兮、必立爾裔於永久、堅爾位至萬世兮、

維生之耶和華堅立我、使踐我父大衛之位、依其所許、為我建立家室、我指之而誓、亞多尼雅、今日必致之死、

非耶和華建屋宇、則匠人之經營徒然、非耶和華衛城邑、則守者之儆醒徒然、

彼戢干戈、爰及地極、折弓斷戟、火焚戰車兮、

求赦婢過、我主為耶和華戰、耶和華必鞏固我主之家、我主終身無疵可求、

彼將為我名建室、彼必為我子、我必為其父、固其國位於以色列、歷世弗替、

上帝安人、誰能罪之、上帝掩面、誰能覲之、於國於人皆然、

因收生者畏上帝、上帝俾其成立家室、

蓋彼破之、而復裹之、傷之、而手醫之、爾遇六災、彼必救之、即遭七難、禍不及身、

哲婦立家、愚婦手毀之、

厥敵虐之、俾服其手下兮、
