願這罪責盤旋在約押頭上、和他父系全家；又願約押家不斷有患漏症的、患痲瘋屬之病的、架柺而行的、倒斃於刀下的、缺乏食物的。』

願這罪歸到約押的頭上以及他父親的全家，願約押家不斷有患漏症的、患痲瘋的、拄拐杖的、倒在刀下的和缺乏食物的！」

願歸約押之首、與其父全家、願約押家、或患白濁、或患癩疾、或扶杖而行、或隕沒於刃、或乏食、歷世不絕其人、

罪歸約押、與其父家、願約押全家、或患白濁、或患癩疾、或扶杖而行、或殞沒於刃、或飲食匱乏、代有其人、相繼不絕。

流其血之罪、歸約押首、及其父之全家、願約押家患白濁者、有癩疾者、扶杖而行者、亡於刃者、匱乏飲食者、恆有不絕、

May his blood fall on the head of Joab and on his whole family! May Joab’s family never be without someone who has a running sore or leprosy or who leans on a crutch or who falls by the sword or who lacks food.”

May Joab and his whole family line be held accountable for spilling Abner’s blood! May Joab’s family never be without someone who has an open sore or skin disease. May his family never be without someone who has to use a crutch to walk. May his family never be without someone who gets killed by a sword. And may his family never be without someone who doesn’t have enough to eat.”

May it fall upon the head of Joab and upon all his father’s house, and may the house of Joab never be without one who has a discharge or who is leprous or who holds a spindle or who falls by the sword or who lacks bread!”

Joab and his family are the guilty ones. May the family of Joab be cursed in every generation with a man who has open sores or leprosy or who walks on crutches or dies by the sword or begs for food!”

May it hang over Joab’s head and his father’s whole family, and may the house of Joab never be without someone who has a discharge or a skin disease, or a man who can only work a spindle, or someone who falls by the sword or starves.”

May it turn upon the head of Joab and on all his father’s house; and may there not be eliminated from the house of Joab someone who suffers a discharge, or has leprosy, or holds the spindle, or falls by the sword, or lacks bread.”

Let it rest on the head of Joab and on all his father’s house; and let there never fail to be in the house of Joab one who has a discharge or is a leper, who leans on a staff or falls by the sword, or who lacks bread.”

願他的年日短少，願別人取代他的職分。願他的兒女成為孤兒；願他的妻子成為寡婦。願他的兒女流離失所，到處求乞；願他們從他們破毀的家中被趕逐出去。願債主奪去他一切所有的；願外人都劫掠他勞碌得來的。願無人對他施仁慈；願無人恩待他的孤兒。願他的後人被除滅，願他們的名字在下一代被塗抹。願他列祖的罪孽被耶和華謹記；願他母親的罪惡不被塗抹。願這些罪常在耶和華面前，好使他們的名號從地上被除掉。因為他從沒有想起要施慈愛，只知道迫害困苦、貧窮和傷心的人，要把他們置於死地。他愛咒詛，願咒詛臨到他；他不喜愛祝福，願福樂遠離他。他以咒詛當作衣服穿上，咒詛就像水一般進入他的內臟，像油一樣進入他的骨頭。願這咒詛像衣服一般給他披上，並當作他常常束上的腰帶。

大衛對他說：“你流人血的罪要歸到自己的頭上，因為你親口作證指控自己說：‘我殺了耶和華的受膏者。’”

那人就是患了痲風病，就不潔淨；祭司要宣布他為不潔淨，那人頭上染了痲風。“身上患有痲風病的人，要撕裂自己的衣服，披頭散髮，遮蓋上唇喊叫：‘不潔淨！不潔淨！’在他患病的日子裡，他是不潔淨的；他既然不潔淨，就要獨居，住在營外。

因為他們曾流聖徒和先知的血，現在你給他們血喝，這是他們該受的。”

這是要報復對耶路．巴力七十個兒子的暴行，把流他們血的罪歸到他們的兄弟亞比米勒身上，就是那殺害他們的；也歸到示劍人身上，就是那些幫助亞比米勒去殺他自己的兄弟的。

王對比拿雅說：“你照著約押的話行吧！殺死他，把他埋葬，好叫約押所流無辜人的血，從我和我父的家除去。耶和華必使約押流無辜人的血的罪歸到他自己頭上，因為他擊殺了兩個比他又公義又良善的人，就是用刀殺了以色列的元帥尼珥的兒子押尼珥，和猶大的元帥益帖的兒子亞瑪撒，這事我的父親大衛一點都不知道。願流這二人的血的罪歸到約押和他後裔的頭上，直到永遠；但大衛和他的後裔，他的家和他的國卻要從耶和華那裡得享平安，直到永遠。”於是耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅上去擊殺他，把他殺死，葬在曠野約押自己的家中。

我賜給以色列人的一切福分，你必像一個對頭，以嫉妒的眼光來看；而在你的家中，必永遠再沒有有權勢的長者。我必不從我的祭壇那裡滅絕你家的人，免得你的眼睛昏花，心靈憂傷，但所有你家中增添的人都必像世人一樣死去（按照《七十士譯本》和《死海古卷》，“像世人一樣死去”作“死在人的刀下”）。你的兩個兒子何弗尼和非尼哈所要遭遇的事，是給你的一個證據：他們二人必同日而死。我要為自己興起一位忠心的祭司，他必依照我的心意行事；我要為他建立一個穩固的家，他一生必行在我的受膏者面前。你家中剩下的人，都要來向他下拜；求一個銀幣，一塊餅，也要說：求你容我參與祭司的職務，使我可以有點餅吃。’”

因此，乃縵的痲風要附在你的身上和你後裔的身上，直到永遠。”基哈西從以利沙面前離去時，就長了痲風，好像雪那樣白。

這樣，神報應了亞比米勒向他父親所行的惡事，就是他殺了自己的兄弟七十個人。神也把示劍人的一切惡事，都報應在他們的頭上；耶路．巴力的兒子約坦的咒詛，也歸到他們身上。

亞蘭王的軍長乃縵在他的主人面前是一個大人物，很得王的賞識，因為耶和華曾藉他把勝利賜給亞蘭。這個人是個勇猛的戰士，可惜他是個痲風病人。

“你們要告訴以色列人，對他們說：如果男子的下體有異常排泄，他的排泄物是不潔淨的，

當地的人看見那條蛇懸在他手上，就彼此說：“這個人一定是兇手，雖然從海裡脫險，天理也不容他活著！”
