“ In my distress I called upon the Lord; to my God I called. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry came to his ears.

我遘艱辛之際、呼籲耶和華、祈我上帝、聲聞於上、彼自宮中、俯聽我祈。

我於急難時呼籲主、呼籲我天主、主自殿中俯聞我聲、我之籲懇為主耳所聞、

“ In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came to his ears.

When I was in trouble I called out to the Lord. I called out to my God. From his temple he heard my voice. My cry for help reached his ears.

But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I cried to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry reached his ears.

I called to the LORD in my distress; I called to my God. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry for help reached his ears.

This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all his troubles.

When my life was fainting away, I remembered the Lord, and my prayer came to you, into your holy temple.

In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.

Yet have regard to the prayer of your servant and to his plea, O Lord my God, listening to the cry and to the prayer that your servant prays before you this day,that your eyes may be open night and day toward this house, the place of which you have said,‘ My name shall be there,’ that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place.And listen to the plea of your servant and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. And listen in heaven your dwelling place, and when you hear, forgive.

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry.The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.

Then I said,‘ I am driven away from your sight; yet I shall again look upon your holy temple.’

But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him.”

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you, and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.

Then he said to them,“ My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.”And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying,“ My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”

Then the Lord said,“ I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I know their sufferings,

And being in agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
