因你鼻中的气，水就聚成堆，大水竖立如垒，海的中心深水凝结。仇敌说：‘我要追赶，我要追上，我要分掳物，在他们身上满足我的心愿，我要拔刀，亲手毁灭他们。’你用风一吹，海水就淹没他们；他们像铅沉在大水之中。

上帝啊，你为何永远丢弃我们呢？为何向你草场的羊发怒，如烟冒出呢？

耶和华啊，你的斥责一发，你鼻孔的气一出，海底就显现，大地的根基也暴露。他从高天伸手抓住我，把我从大水中拉上来。他救我脱离强敌和那些恨我的人，因为他们比我强盛。

耶稣说：“你们这些小信的人哪，为什么胆怯呢？”于是他起来，斥责风和海，风和海就大大平静了。众人惊讶地说：“这是怎样的一个人？连风和海都听从他。”
