After this, David inquired of Yahweh, saying,“ Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” Yahweh said to him,“ Go up.” David said,“ Where shall I go up?” He said,“ To Hebron.”

In the course of time, David inquired of the Lord.“ Shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah?” he asked. The Lord said,“ Go up.” David asked,“ Where shall I go?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord answered.

After Saul and Jonathan died, David asked the Lord for advice.“ Should I go up to one of the towns of Judah?” he asked. The Lord said,“ Go up.” David asked,“ Where should I go?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord answered.

After this David inquired of the Lord,“ Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him,“ Go up.” David said,“ To which shall I go up?” And he said,“ To Hebron.”

After this, David asked the Lord,“ Should I move back to one of the towns of Judah?”“ Yes,” the Lord replied. Then David asked,“ Which town should I go to?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord answered.

Some time later, David inquired of the LORD:“ Should I go to one of the towns of Judah?” The LORD answered him,“ Go.” Then David asked,“ Where should I go?”“ To Hebron,” the LORD replied.

Then it came about afterward that David inquired of the Lord, saying,“ Shall I go up to one of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him,“ Go up.” So David said,“ Where shall I go up?” And He said,“ To Hebron.”

It happened after this that David inquired of the Lord, saying,“ Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him,“ Go up.” David said,“ Where shall I go up?” And He said,“ To Hebron.”

And it came to pass after this, that David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And Jehovah said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

Some time later, David inquired of the Lord:“ Should I go to one of the towns of Judah?” The Lord answered him,“ Go.” Then David asked,“ Where should I go?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord replied.

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

Afterward David inquired of the LORD,“ Should I go up to one of the cities of Judah?” The LORD told him,“ Go up.” David asked,“ Where should I go?” The LORD replied,“ To Hebron.”

Therefore David inquired of Yahweh, saying,“ Shall I go and strike these Philistines?” Yahweh said to David,“ Go strike the Philistines, and save Keilah.”

Then David inquired of Yahweh yet again. Yahweh answered him, and said,“ Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest,“ Bring the ephod here.”Then David said,“ O Yahweh, the God of Israel, your servant has surely heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? Will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? Yahweh, the God of Israel, I beg you, tell your servant.” Yahweh said,“ He will come down.”Then David said,“ Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul?” Yahweh said,“ They will deliver you up.”

When David inquired of Yahweh, he said,“ You shall not go up. Circle around behind them, and attack them in front of the mulberry trees.

One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life, to see Yahweh’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.

When he saw them, Jacob said,“ This is God’s army.” He called the name of that place Mahanaim.

The time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.

“‘ The Lord Yahweh says:“ For this, moreover, I will be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.

At the end of forty years, Absalom said to the king,“ Please let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed to Yahweh, in Hebron.

Then all the tribes of Israel came to David at Hebron, and spoke, saying,“ Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was you who led Israel out and in. Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.

David inquired of Yahweh, saying,“ Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” Yahweh said to David,“ Go up; for I will certainly deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

Joshua blessed him; and he gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance.Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he followed Yahweh, the God of Israel wholeheartedly.Now the name of Hebron before was Kiriath Arba, after the greatest man among the Anakim. and they gave for the service of God’s house of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand darics, of silver ten thousand talents, of bronze eighteen thousand talents, and of iron one hundred thousand talents.

The days that David reigned over Israel were forty years; he reigned seven years in Hebron, and he reigned thirty- three years in Jerusalem.

They went up by the South, and came to Hebron; and Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were there.( Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
