And it came to pass after this, that David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And Jehovah said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

In the course of time, David inquired of the Lord.“ Shall I go up to one of the towns of Judah?” he asked. The Lord said,“ Go up.” David asked,“ Where shall I go?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord answered.

After Saul and Jonathan died, David asked the Lord for advice.“ Should I go up to one of the towns of Judah?” he asked. The Lord said,“ Go up.” David asked,“ Where should I go?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord answered.

After this David inquired of the Lord,“ Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him,“ Go up.” David said,“ To which shall I go up?” And he said,“ To Hebron.”

After this, David asked the Lord,“ Should I move back to one of the towns of Judah?”“ Yes,” the Lord replied. Then David asked,“ Which town should I go to?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord answered.

Some time later, David inquired of the LORD:“ Should I go to one of the towns of Judah?” The LORD answered him,“ Go.” Then David asked,“ Where should I go?”“ To Hebron,” the LORD replied.

Then it came about afterward that David inquired of the Lord, saying,“ Shall I go up to one of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him,“ Go up.” So David said,“ Where shall I go up?” And He said,“ To Hebron.”

It happened after this that David inquired of the Lord, saying,“ Shall I go up to any of the cities of Judah?” And the Lord said to him,“ Go up.” David said,“ Where shall I go up?” And He said,“ To Hebron.”

Some time later, David inquired of the Lord:“ Should I go to one of the towns of Judah?” The Lord answered him,“ Go.” Then David asked,“ Where should I go?”“ To Hebron,” the Lord replied.

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

Afterward David inquired of the LORD,“ Should I go up to one of the cities of Judah?” The LORD told him,“ Go up.” David asked,“ Where should I go?” The LORD replied,“ To Hebron.”

After this, David inquired of Yahweh, saying,“ Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” Yahweh said to him,“ Go up.” David said,“ Where shall I go up?” He said,“ To Hebron.”

and to them that were in Hebron, and to all the places where David himself and his men were wont to haunt.

Therefore David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And Jehovah said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.

Then David inquired of Jehovah yet again. And Jehovah answered him, and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into thy hand.

And David knew that Saul was devising mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring hither the ephod.Then said David, O Jehovah, the God of Israel, thy servant hath surely heard that Saul seeketh to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as thy servant hath heard? O Jehovah, the God of Israel, I beseech thee, tell thy servant. And Jehovah said, He will come down.Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver up me and my men into the hand of Saul? And Jehovah said, They will deliver thee up.

And when David inquired of Jehovah, he said, Thou shalt not go up: make a circuit behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry- trees.

One thing have I asked of Jehovah, that will I seek after: That I may dwell in the house of Jehovah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of Jehovah, And to inquire in his temple.

And Jacob said when he saw them, This is God’s host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.

And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: For this, moreover, will I be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.

And it came to pass at the end of forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto Jehovah, in Hebron.

And he shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before Jehovah: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation.

And it came to pass after the death of Joshua, that the children of Israel asked of Jehovah, saying, Who shall go up for us first against the Canaanites, to fight against them?

Show me thy ways, O Jehovah; Teach me thy paths.Guide me in thy truth, and teach me; For thou art the God of my salvation; For thee do I wait all the day.

Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths.

Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.In times past, when Saul was king over us, it was thou that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and Jehovah said to thee, Thou shalt be shepherd of my people Israel, and thou shalt be prince over Israel.So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Jehovah: and they anointed David king over Israel.

And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, I pray thee, bring me hither the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, If I pursue after this troop, shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue; for thou shalt surely overtake them, and shalt without fail recover all.

Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; For in thee do I trust: Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; For I lift up my soul unto thee.

And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into my hand? And Jehovah said unto David, Go up; for I will certainly deliver the Philistines into thy hand.

And Joshua blessed him; and he gave Hebron unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance.Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite unto this day; because that he wholly followed Jehovah, the God of Israel.Now the name of Hebron beforetime was Kiriath- arba; which Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim. And the land had rest from war.

and they gave for the service of the house of God of gold five thousand talents and ten thousand darics, and of silver ten thousand talents, and of brass eighteen thousand talents, and of iron a hundred thousand talents.

And the days that David reigned over Israel were forty years: seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem.

And they went up by the South, and came unto Hebron; and Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were there.( Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
