Then Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said,“ Let me now run and carry the king news, how Yahweh has avenged him of his enemies.”

撒督的儿子亚希玛斯说：“让我跑去，把这好消息向王报告，就是耶和华已经把他从仇敌的手中拯救出来了。”

撒督的兒子亞希瑪斯說：「請讓我跑去向王報好消息，耶和華已經救他脫離仇敵的手了！」

Now Ahimaaz son of Zadok said,“ Let me run and take the news to the king that the Lord has vindicated him by delivering him from the hand of his enemies.”

Ahimaaz, the son of Zadok, said to Joab,“ Let me run and take the news to the king. Let me tell him that the Lord has shown that David is in the right. The Lord has done this by saving David from his enemies.”

Then Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said,“ Let me run and carry news to the king that the Lord has delivered him from the hand of his enemies.”

Then Zadok’s son Ahimaaz said,“ Let me run to the king with the good news that the Lord has rescued him from his enemies.”

Ahimaaz son of Zadok said,“ Please let me run and tell the king the good news that the LORD has vindicated him by freeing him from his enemies.”

Then Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said,“ Please let me run and bring the king news that the Lord has freed him from the hand of his enemies!”

Then Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said,“ Let me run now and take the news to the king, how the Lord has avenged him of his enemies.”

Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok, Let me now run, and bear the king tidings, how that Jehovah hath avenged him of his enemies.

Ahimaaz son of Zadok said,“ Please let me run and tell the king the good news that the Lord has delivered him from his enemies.”

Then said Ahimaaz the son of Zadok, Let me now run, and bear the king tidings, how that the LORD hath avenged him of his enemies.

Then Ahimaaz the son of Zadok said,“ Let me run and give the king the good news that the LORD has vindicated him before his enemies.”

Behold, they have there with them their two sons, Ahimaaz, Zadok’s son, and Jonathan, Abiathar’s son. Send to me everything that you shall hear by them.”

Behold, the Cushite came. The Cushite said,“ News for my lord the king, for Yahweh has avenged you today of all those who rose up against you.”

“ But come what may,” he said,“ I will run.” He said to him,“ Run!” Then Ahimaaz ran by the way of the Plain, and outran the Cushite.

Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz were staying by En Rogel; and a female servant used to go and tell them; and they went and told king David. For they might not be seen to come into the city.

For you have maintained my just cause. You sit on the throne judging righteously.

Yahweh has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah.

Yahweh administers judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Yahweh, according to my righteousness, and to my integrity that is in me.Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous; their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.

But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.

Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written,“ Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”

Arise, Yahweh, in your anger. Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries. Awake for me. You have commanded judgment.

to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more.

The watchman said,“ I think the running of the first one is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok.” The king said,“ He is a good man, and comes with good news.”Ahimaaz called, and said to the king,“ All is well.” He bowed himself before the king with his face to the earth, and said,“ Blessed is Yahweh your God, who has delivered up the men who lifted up their hand against my lord the king!”The king said,“ Is it well with the young man Absalom?” Ahimaaz answered,“ When Joab sent the king’s servant, even me your servant, I saw a great tumult, but I don’t know what it was.”
