When David had gone a short distance beyond the summit, there was Ziba, the steward of Mephibosheth, waiting to meet him. He had a string of donkeys saddled and loaded with two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred cakes of raisins, a hundred cakes of figs and a skin of wine.

David went just beyond the top of the Mount of Olives. Ziba was waiting there to meet him. He was Mephibosheth’s manager. He had several donkeys with saddles on them. They were carrying 200 loaves of bread and 100 raisin cakes. They were also carrying 100 fig cakes and a bottle of wine. The bottle was made out of animal skin.

When David had passed a little beyond the summit, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of donkeys saddled, bearing two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred bunches of raisins, a hundred of summer fruits, and a skin of wine.

When David had gone a little beyond the summit of the Mount of Olives, Ziba, the servant of Mephibosheth, was waiting there for him. He had two donkeys loaded with 200 loaves of bread, 100 clusters of raisins, 100 bunches of summer fruit, and a wineskin full of wine.

Now when David had gone on a little beyond the summit, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him with a team of saddled donkeys, and on them were two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred cakes of raisins, a hundred summer fruits, and a jug of wine.

When David was a little past the top of the mountain, there was Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth, who met him with a couple of saddled donkeys, and on them two hundred loaves of bread, one hundred clusters of raisins, one hundred summer fruits, and a skin of wine.

And when David was a little past the top of the ascent, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and a hundred clusters of raisins, and a hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.

And when David was a little past the top[ of the hill], behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred[ loaves] of bread, and an hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.

When David had gone a short way beyond the summit, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth was there to meet him. He had a couple of donkeys that were saddled, and on them were two hundred loaves of bread, a hundred raisin cakes, a hundred baskets of summer fruit, and a container of wine.

When David was a little past the top, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him with a couple of donkeys saddled, and on them two hundred loaves of bread, and one hundred clusters of raisins, and one hundred summer fruits, and a container of wine.

亚比该急忙将二百个饼，两皮袋酒，五只宰好的羊，五细亚烘熟的穗子，一百个葡萄干饼，二百个无花果饼，都驮在驴上，

大卫到了山顶，敬拜上帝的地方，看哪，亚基人户筛衣服撕裂，头蒙灰尘来迎见他。

大卫蒙头赤脚走上橄榄山的斜坡，一面上一面哭。所有跟随他的百姓也都各自蒙头哭着上去；

扫罗家有一个仆人名叫洗巴，有人叫他来到大卫那里。王对他说：“你是洗巴吗？”他说：“仆人是。”王说：“扫罗家还有没有剩下的人？我要照上帝的慈爱恩待他。”洗巴对王说：“还有约拿单的一个儿子，双腿是瘸的。”王对他说：“他在哪里？”洗巴对王说：“看哪，他在罗‧底巴，亚米利的儿子玛吉家里。”于是大卫王派人去，从罗‧底巴，亚米利的儿子玛吉家里召了他来。扫罗的孙子，约拿单的儿子米非波设来到大卫那里，脸伏于地叩拜。大卫说：“米非波设！”米非波设说：“看哪，仆人在此。”大卫对他说：“你不要惧怕，我必因你父亲约拿单的缘故向你施恩，把你祖父扫罗的一切田地都归还你，你也可以常与我同席吃饭。”米非波设叩拜，说：“你的仆人算什么，不过如死狗一般，竟蒙你这样眷顾！”王召了扫罗的仆人洗巴来，对他说：“我已把属扫罗和他的一切家产都赐给你主人的儿子了。你、你的众子和仆人要为你主人的儿子耕种田地，把所收获的拿来供他食用；你主人的儿子米非波设却要常与我同席吃饭。”洗巴有十五个儿子和二十个仆人。洗巴对王说：“凡我主我王吩咐仆人的，仆人都必遵行。”于是米非波设与王同席吃饭，如王的儿子一样。米非波设有一个小儿子，名叫米迦。凡住在洗巴家里的人都作了米非波设的仆人。米非波设住在耶路撒冷，常与王同席吃饭。他两腿都是瘸的。

王藉公平，使国坚定；强索贡物的，使它毁坏。谄媚邻舍的，就是设网罗绊他的脚。

至于我，我要住在米斯巴，侍候那些到我们这里来的迦勒底人；只是你们当积蓄酒、油和夏天的果子，收藏在器皿里，并住在你们所占的城镇中。”

我有祸了！我好像夏日收割后的果子，又如收成之后剩余的葡萄，没有一挂可吃的，也没有我心所渴想初熟的无花果。

耶西对他儿子大卫说：“你拿一伊法烘了的穗子和十个饼，跑到营里去，交给你的哥哥，再拿这十块奶饼，送给他们的千夫长，并要问你哥哥好，向他们要个凭据回来。”

大卫到了玛哈念，亚扪族的拉巴人拿辖的儿子朔比，罗‧底巴人亚米利的儿子玛吉，来自罗基琳的基列人巴西莱，带着被褥、盆、瓦器，还有小麦、大麦、麦面、烤熟的谷穗、豆子、红豆、炒豆、蜂蜜、奶油、绵羊、奶饼，供给大卫和跟随他的人吃，因为他们想：“百姓在旷野中，必定又饥渴又疲乏。”

耶西把几个饼和一皮袋酒，以及一只小山羊，驮在驴上，由儿子大卫的手送给扫罗。

主耶和华又指示我一件事，看哪，有一筐夏天的果子。

人的礼物为他开路，引他到高位的人面前。

所有的犹大人就从被赶到的各处回来，到犹大地米斯巴的基大利那里。他们积蓄了许多的酒，并夏天的果子。

你从那里往前走，到了他泊的橡树那里，会遇见三个往伯特利去敬拜上帝的人：一个带着三只小山羊，一个带着三个饼，一个带着一皮袋酒。

他们附近的人，以及以萨迦、西布伦、拿弗他利人，都将食物，许多面饼、无花果饼、干葡萄、酒、油，用驴、骆驼、骡子、牛驮来，又带了许多的牛和羊来，因为在以色列中充满了欢乐。

巴西莱年纪老迈，已经八十岁了。王住在玛哈念的时候，他拿食物来供给王，因他是个大富翁。
