The king said to Absalom,“ No, my son, let’s not all go, lest we be burdensome to you.” He pressed him; however he would not go, but blessed him.

王曰、吾子、我儕無庸俱往、恐累爾、押沙龍固請之、亦不往、第為祝嘏、

王曰、我子、毋庸群去、恐費過奢。押沙龍強請之、亦不允、第為之祝嘏。

王謂押沙龍曰、我子、我儕不必俱往、恐使爾費過奢、押沙龍堅請、王亦不允、乃為之祝福、

“ No, my son,” the king replied.“ All of us should not go; we would only be a burden to you.” Although Absalom urged him, he still refused to go but gave him his blessing.

“ No, my son,” the king replied.“ All of us shouldn’t go. It would be too much trouble for you.” Although Absalom begged him, the king still refused to go. But he gave Absalom his blessing.

But the king said to Absalom,“ No, my son, let us not all go, lest we be burdensome to you.” He pressed him, but he would not go but gave him his blessing.

The king replied,“ No, my son. If we all came, we would be too much of a burden on you.” Absalom pressed him, but the king would not come, though he gave Absalom his blessing.

And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all go, lest we be burdensome unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.

And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.

But the king said to Absalom,“ No, my son. We shouldn’t all go. We shouldn’t burden you in that way.” Though Absalom pressed him, the king was not willing to go. Instead, David blessed him.

They urged him, saying,“ Stay with us, for it is almost evening, and the day is almost over.” He went in to stay with them.

Joab fell to the ground on his face, showed respect, and blessed the king. Joab said,“ Today your servant knows that I have found favor in your sight, my lord, king, in that the king has performed the request of his servant.”

When she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying,“ If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay.” So she persuaded us.

“ The lord said to the servant,‘ Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said to the reapers,“ May Yahweh be with you.” They answered him,“ May Yahweh bless you.”

The man rose up to depart; but his father- in- law urged him, and he stayed there again.He arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart; and the young lady’s father said,“ Please strengthen your heart and stay until the day declines;” and they both ate.When the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father- in- law, the young lady’s father, said to him,“ Behold, now the day draws toward evening, please stay all night. Behold, the day is ending. Stay here, that your heart may be merry; and tomorrow go on your way early, that you may go home.”But the man wouldn’t stay that night, but he rose up and went near Jebus( also called Jerusalem). With him were a couple of saddled donkeys. His concubine also was with him.

and he said,“ See now, my lords, please come into your servant’s house, stay all night, wash your feet, and you can rise up early, and go on your way.” They said,“ No, but we will stay in the street all night.”He urged them greatly, and they came in with him, and entered into his house. He made them a feast, and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.
