And he said to me,‘ Who are you?’ So I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’

他问我是什么人。我告诉他我是亚玛力人。

他问我：‘你是谁？’我回答他：‘我是亚玛力人。’

他問我說：『你是甚麼人？』我說：『我是亞瑪力人。』

他問我說：『你是甚麼人？』我說：『我是亞瑪力人。』

他問我說：『你是甚麼人？』我說：『我是亞瑪力人。』

他問我是什麼人。我告訴他我是亞瑪力人。

他問我：‘你是誰？’我回答他：‘我是亞瑪力人。’

他問我說：『你是誰？』我對他說：『我是亞瑪力人。』

他問我：『你是誰？』我回答他：『我是亞瑪力人。』

曰、爾為誰、曰、亞瑪力人也、

彼曰、汝為誰。我曰、亞馬力人。

彼曰、爾為誰、我曰、亞瑪力人、

“ He asked me,‘ Who are you?’“‘ An Amalekite,’ I answered.

“ He asked me,‘ Who are you?’“‘ An Amalekite,’ I answered.

And he said to me,‘ Who are you?’ I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’

“ He responded,‘ Who are you?’“‘ I am an Amalekite,’ I told him.

He asked me,‘ Who are you?’ I told him: I’m an Amalekite.

Then he said to me,‘ Who are you?’ And I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’

And he said unto me, Who art thou? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.

He asked me,‘ Who are you?’ I told him: I’m an Amalekite.

And he said unto me, Who[ art] thou? And I answered him, I[ am] an Amalekite.

He asked me,‘ Who are you?’ I told him,‘ I’m an Amalekite.’

He said to me,‘ Who are you?’ I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’

Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.

Then David said to him,“ To whom do you belong, and where are you from?” And he said,“ I am a young man from Egypt, servant of an Amalekite; and my master left me behind, because three days ago I fell sick.

Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’”

Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire,

“ Remember what Amalek did to you on the way as you were coming out of Egypt,how he met you on the way and attacked your rear ranks, all the stragglers at your rear, when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God.Therefore it shall be, when the Lord your God has given you rest from your enemies all around, in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance, that you will blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. You shall not forget.

And David and his men went up and raided the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites. For those nations were the inhabitants of the land from of old, as you go to Shur, even as far as the land of Egypt.

Then he looked on Amalek, and he took up his oracle and said:“ Amalek was first among the nations, But shall be last until he perishes.”

Then they turned back and came to En Mishpat( that is, Kadesh), and attacked all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites who dwelt in Hazezon Tamar.

Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim.And Moses said to Joshua,“ Choose us some men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.”So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.And so it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.But Moses’ hands became heavy; so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it. And Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.So Joshua defeated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner;for he said,“ Because the Lord has sworn: the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”
