毋播言於迦特、毋哭泣於亞哥、惟在伯押拉、坐於塗炭、

大闢殺非利士人而回、眾婦自以色列諸邑出、謳歌舞蹈、播鼗擊磐、歡然以迓掃羅王。

耶弗大止育一女、別無所出、既至米斯巴反其故家、來迓者惟此女、執鼗舞蹈而出。

先知婦亞倫姊米哩暗、手執鼗、諸女亦執鼗相從、舞蹈而出。米哩暗和其歌曰、赫兮喧兮、耶和華歟、馬與乘者、盡驅於海。

參孫感於耶和華之神、遂往亞實基倫、殺三十人、褫其衣以給詳隱語者。參孫怒甚、反於父家。

或立於傍、大闢問之曰、能殺此非利士人、洒恥於以色列族者、將何所得。非利士人未受割禮、安敢侮永生上帝之軍乎。

我曰、必使之散處四方、而人忘其所自、然我慮敵驕肆、佯不知我所作為、反自伐其大能、謂非耶和華所行。

非利士人伯曰、我之上帝以我敵參孫付於我手。故集其眾、大獻祭品、奉事其上帝、厥名大公、自取歡悅。民見參孫、則譽其上帝、曰、彼乃我敵、曾敗我國、戮我民、今為我上帝付於我手。

故我降災、減爾糈糧、非利士人、羞爾淫行、深為厭惡、故以我爾付於其手。

明日剝尸、見掃羅及其三子、死於吉破山。乃斬掃羅首級、褫其甲裳、遣使者徧傳於非利士人四境、及至偶像之室、

謂持兵之士曰、汝其拔刃刺我、恐未受割者刺我、加以狎侮。持兵之士懼甚、不敢奉命、掃羅觸刃而死。

獅與熊尚被僕所殺、此未受割禮之非利士人、既侮永生上帝之軍、亦必如是。
