On the third day a man arrived from Saul’s camp with his clothes torn and dust on his head. When he came to David, he fell to the ground to pay him honor.

是日有便雅憫人自裂其衣、以塵蒙首、自行伍間、遁於示羅、

昔有人在息臘告我曰、掃羅已沒、意欲報嘉音而獲賞、我反執而殺焉。

亞庇該見大闢、速下驢、俯伏於前、

約書亞裂衣、俯伏耶和華匱前、彼及以色列族、蒙灰於首、至於薄暮。

當集書山猶大人、緣我禁食三晝夜、我與侍女亦將禁食、然後入宮覲王、雖違例而亡、亦弗顧也。

我儕於田束禾、我所束者、起而立、爾所束者、環而拜。諸兄曰、爾果將統轄我乎、抑治理我乎、故因其夢與言而益憾。約瑟復夢、告諸兄曰、我夢得其二矣、有日月十一星、皆拜我。約瑟以此夢告父兄時、父叱之曰、爾所夢者何與、我與汝母汝兄、果將俯伏爾前乎。

大闢躋山巔、崇拜上帝、有亞其人戶篩、自裂其衣、以塵蒙首、而迓大闢。

撒但之黨、自謂猶太人、而實非也、彼誑而己、我必使之來、俯伏爾前、俾知我愛爾、

提哥亞地之婦、入覲於王、伏地拜曰、請王拯我。

後流便至井、窺約瑟不在、遂裂己衣、

越三日、舉目遙瞻其處。

當裂肺肝、毋裂衣服、歸誠爾之上帝耶和華、我以仁慈為念、矜憫為懷、恆忍靡已、施恩格外、所言降災之事、必能中止、

曰、上帝兮、爾之經綸、神妙莫測、爾展大能、敵人歸附、甘言以頌禱兮、

越三日后衣朝服、進深宮、入內院、至殿前、王坐於堂上。

約拿三日三夜、在巨魚腹、如是、人子亦將三日三夜在地中、

童往、大闢自南旁出、伏地三拜、彼此接吻哭泣、大闢愈甚。

雅各遂裂己衣、衣麻慘傷、幾歷歲月。

二三日之後、彼將甦我、使我復興、與之偕生。

其人曰、我今日自行伍間遁逃而至、曰吾子與、可知其詳乎。

自是、耶穌示門徒、以己必往耶路撒冷、備受長老、祭司諸長、士子之害、且見殺、三日復生、

曰吾主之僕我父尚在無恙、遂稽首俯伏。
