你所看见的那兽，先前在而现今不在，并将要从无底坑里上来，然后走向灭亡。住在地上的人，凡是名字从创世以来没有被记在生命册上的，看见那先前在而现今不在，并将要出现的兽时，都会感到惊奇。

至于那些想发财的人就会陷入试探、网罗以及很多无知有害的欲望里；这些欲望使人沉溺在败坏和灭亡中。

我们的神来临，绝不沉默；烈火在他面前吞噬，暴风在他四围刮起。

接着，我看见一个白色的大宝座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都从他面前逃避，连它们的地方也找不到了。

在任何事上都不被反对你们的人吓倒——这对他们是灭亡的证明，而对你们却是得救的证明，并且这是出于神。

不过我告诉你们：在那审判的日子，提尔和西顿所受的，将要比你们还容易受呢！

我告诉你们：人所说的每一句无益的话，在那审判的日子，句句都要做出交代，

那先前在而现今不在的兽，自己就是第八个，也是属于那七个，并且要走向灭亡。
