蓋此義者居其中、且見且聞、以其不法之行、日傷公義之心、

蓋義者與彼同處、見其敗亂矩矱、無日不憂、

蓋此義人居於彼中、目見耳聞其非法之事、傷其義心、

蓋羅德以正直之身、處於群小之中、所見所聞、莫非橫行無道、中心惄焉如擣、無有寧日也。

( for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—

That good man lived among them day after day. He saw and heard the evil things they were doing. They were breaking God’s laws. And the godly spirit of Lot was deeply troubled.

Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day.

我看见奸恶的人就甚憎恶，因为他们不遵守你的话。

我的眼泪下流成河，因为他们不守你的律法。

耶和华对他说：“你去走遍耶路撒冷全城，那些因城中所行可憎之事叹息哀哭的人，画记号在额上。”

义人在恶人面前退缩，好像趟浑之泉，弄浊之井。

如今我们称狂傲的人为有福，并且行恶的人得建立；他们虽然试探神，却得脱离灾难。’”那时，敬畏耶和华的彼此谈论，耶和华侧耳而听，且有纪念册在他面前，记录那敬畏耶和华、思念他名的人。万军之耶和华说：“在我所定的日子，他们必属我，特特归我。我必怜恤他们，如同人怜恤服侍自己的儿子。

我心焦急，如同火烧，因我敌人忘记你的言语。

义人得志，有大荣耀；恶人兴起，人就躲藏。

要将年老的、年少的，并处女、婴孩，和妇女，从圣所起全都杀尽，只是凡有记号的人不要挨近他。”于是他们从殿前的长老杀起。

因为律法不是为义人设立的，乃是为不法和不服的，不虔诚和犯罪的，不圣洁和恋世俗的，弑父母和杀人的，

所以你们要彼此认罪，互相代求，使你们可以得医治。义人祈祷所发的力量是大有功效的。
