昔天使犯罪、天主亦未惜之、投於地獄、縛於幽暗中、以待審判、

就是天使犯了罪，神也没有宽容，曾把他们丢在地狱，交在黑暗坑中，等候审判。

既然上帝没有宽容犯了罪的天使，反而把他们丢在地狱里，囚禁在幽暗中等候审判；

既然神没有宽容犯了罪的天使，反而把他们丢在地狱里，囚禁在幽暗中等候审判；

即使天使犯了罪，上帝也没有容忍他们，而是把他们丢在地狱里，囚在幽暗的深坑等候审判。

神没有姑息犯罪的天使，反而把他们丢入地狱，囚禁在幽暗的坑里，等候审判。

要知道：既然神没有顾惜那些犯罪的天使，把他们扔进地狱，囚禁在幽暗的坑里，拘留到审判的时候；

夫上帝既不惜干罪之天使、投之暗府、付之幽坎、守以待鞫、

維昔天使陷罪、上帝不赦、拘攣於暗府、幽囚於狴犴、以待審判、

昔者天神之干罪也、天主且毅然投之地獄、囚之冥府、以待審判。

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment;

God did not spare angels when they sinned. Instead, he sent them to hell. He chained them up in dark prisons. He will keep them there until he judges them.

且不守本位、離其所之天使、天主以縲絏、永禁之於幽暗中、以待大日之審判、

天主不惜己子、為我眾舍之、豈不以萬物偕其子並賜我乎、

我見天使自天降、手執大淵之鑰、及大鐵索、執龍即古蛇、即魔與撒但、縛之千年、投之於淵、閉淵而封之、免彼復誘惑列邦、待千年已滿、乃釋之片時、○

爾明光之晨星歟、何竟隕自天哉、勝列國者歟、何竟偃仆塵埃哉、

在天有戰、米加勒率其使者與龍戰、龍亦率其使者與戰、龍及其使者戰不勝、不得復居於天、於是巨龍即古蛇、稱魔與撒但素迷惑天下人者、被擲於地、其諸使者亦同被擲、

惑彼之魔、見投於硫磺之火坑、即投獸與偽先知之處、晝夜受苦、至於世世、

我目不顧惜爾、我不加矜憫、必視爾行為、及爾中一切可憎之事、施報於爾、爾則知我乃主、○

耶穌曰、我見撒但自天而隕、如電然、

主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、因爾以諸可憎之事、及諸可惡之物、玷污我之聖所、故我必使爾衰微、我必使爾衰微或作我不復加護於爾我目不顧惜、我不加矜憫、

天使雖較彼能力更大、尚不詬詈以罪之於主前、

遂求耶穌勿令入淵、

天主之臣僕、天主尚不信、尚不信或作尚察其過天主之使者、天主尚責其愚、

彼呼曰、天主子耶穌乎、我與爾何與、時未至、爾來此苦我乎、

作罪者乃由魔、蓋魔自始犯罪、天主之子顯現、為欲毀魔之作為、

主必不赦之、必動忌邪之心、震怒甚烈、氣忿若燄、以攻此人、以此書所載諸禍諸禍或作諸詛下同加諸其身、塗抹其名於天下、

爾父即魔、爾曹由彼而出、爾喜行爾父之所欲、彼自始為殺人者、不立於真理、以其內無真理、彼言誑、乃由本性而言之、因彼為誑者、且為誑者之父也、

大呼曰、至上天主之子耶穌、我與爾何與、我為天主之名、求爾莫苦我、

亦未惜先古之世、以洪水罰彼不虔敬之惡世、惟救傳義道之挪亞等八人、

我目不顧惜、我不加矜憫、必視爾行為、及爾中一切可憎之事、施報於爾、使爾知責爾者、乃我耶和華也、

患難之日、惡人得免、天主降災之時、惡人得脫、天主降災之時惡人得脫又作報應未及之先彼已舁至墳墓

如海中狂浪、自吐穢沫、如流蕩之星、終必歸於幽暗、永遠靡既、終必歸於幽暗永遠靡既原文作有永遠之幽暗為之而存

惟主知拯救虔敬之人、脫於苦難、而留不義之人、待審判之日受刑、

天主既不惜本然之枝、恐亦不惜爾、

主之怒氣直衝、使其人民不免死亡、使其畜類俱遭疫癘、
