要知道：既然神没有顾惜那些犯罪的天使，把他们扔进地狱，囚禁在幽暗的坑里，拘留到审判的时候；

就是天使犯了罪，神也没有宽容，曾把他们丢在地狱，交在黑暗坑中，等候审判。

要知道：既然神沒有顧惜那些犯罪的天使，把他們扔進地獄，囚禁在幽暗的坑裡，拘留到審判的時候；

夫上帝既不惜干罪之天使、投之暗府、付之幽坎、守以待鞫、

維昔天使陷罪、上帝不赦、拘攣於暗府、幽囚於狴犴、以待審判、

昔天使犯罪、天主亦未惜之、投於地獄、縛於幽暗中、以待審判、

昔者天神之干罪也、天主且毅然投之地獄、囚之冥府、以待審判。

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment;

并且用永恒的锁链把那些不守本位、离开自己居所的天使拘留在幽暗里，直到那大日子的审判。

那时王要对在左边的人说：‘你们这些被诅咒的人！离开我！进到那已经为魔鬼和他的使者们所预备好的永远的火里去！

神既然没有顾惜自己的儿子，为我们所有的人舍弃了他，难道不会把万有也连同他一起赐给我们吗？

接着，我看见一位天使从天上降下来，手里拿着无底坑的钥匙和一条大锁链。他抓住了龙——那古蛇，就是魔鬼撒旦，把它捆绑了一千年。这位天使把它丢进无底坑里，关上了无底坑，并用印封上，使它不能再迷惑列国，直到那一千年完结。这些事以后，它必须暂时被释放。

“明亮的晨星，黎明之子啊，你怎么会从天坠落呢？你这击败列国的，怎么会被砍倒在地呢？

接着，天上发生了战争：米迦勒和他的天使们与龙交战，龙和它的使者们也应战，可是龙不能得胜，天上再也没有它们的地方了。于是那巨龙被摔了下来。它就是那古蛇，被称为魔鬼和撒旦，那迷惑普天下的。它被摔在地上，它的使者们也与它一起被摔了下来。

然后那迷惑他们的魔鬼被丢进烈火和硫磺的湖里，就是那兽和那假先知所在的地方；他们将日夜受折磨，直到永永远远。

耶稣对他们说：“我看见撒旦像闪电一样从天上坠落。

就算是天使们，虽然有更大的力量和权能，也不在主面前用毁谤的话控告他们。

那些鬼魔央求耶稣不要命令它们进无底坑去。

忽然，他们喊叫说：“神的儿子啊，我们与你有什么关系？时候来到之前，你就来这里折磨我们吗？”

继续犯罪的人属于魔鬼，因为魔鬼从起初就一直犯罪。为此，神的儿子显现了，是为了废除魔鬼的作为。

你们属于你们的父——魔鬼，并且想要随你们父的欲望去做。他从起初就是杀人的，不站在真理之中，因为他里面没有真理。他说虚假之事是出于自己的本性，因为他本来就是个说谎者，并且是说谎者之父。

大声喊叫说：“至高神的儿子耶稣，我与你有什么关系？我藉着神恳求你，不要折磨我！”

既然神也没有顾惜上古的世界，使洪水临到那不敬神的世界，只保守了义的传道者挪亚一家八口；

是海中的狂浪，涌出自己可耻的泡沫；是流荡的星辰，有漆黑的幽暗永远为他们存留。

那么，主就知道怎样拯救敬神的人脱离试炼，却把不义的人留在惩罚之下，直到审判的日子，

因为神如果没有顾惜原生的树枝，恐怕也不会顾惜你。

他为自己的怒气修平了路，不惜让他们死亡，把他们的性命交给瘟疫。
