蓋未識義路、較識之而背所受之聖誡猶愈也、

既識道矣、猶棄所受之聖命、孰若不識道義之為美、

既識義道、竟背所受之聖命、莫若不識之為美、

蓋與其知道而背命、孰若初未聞道之為愈乎？

It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Suppose they had not known the way of godliness. This would have been better than to know godliness and then turn away from it. The way of godliness is the sacred command passed on to them.

For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.

It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life.

所以，人若知道该行善而不去行，这就是他的罪了。

论到那些已经蒙了光照、尝过天恩的滋味、又于圣灵有份、并尝过神的话的美味，和来世权能的人，若再离弃真道，就不可能使他们重新懊悔了；因为他们亲自把神的儿子重钉十字架，公然羞辱他。

仆人知道主人的意思，却没预备，又未顺他的意思做，那仆人要多受责打；

但是义人若转离他的义而作恶，我要把绊脚石放在他面前，他必死亡；因你没有警戒他，他必死在罪中，他素来所行的义不被记念；我却要从你手里讨他的血债。

这样看来，律法是圣的，诫命也是圣的、义的、善的。

耶稣对他们说：“你们若是失明的，就没有罪了；但现在你们说‘我们能看见’，你们的罪还在。”

并那些转去不跟从耶和华，不寻求耶和华，也不求问他的。”

我若没有来教导他们，他们就没有罪；但如今他们的罪无可推诿了。

白发是荣耀的冠冕，行在公义道上的，必能得着。

你们原知道，我们凭主耶稣传给你们什么命令。

因为约翰到你们这里来指引你们走义路，你们却不信他，税吏和娼妓倒信了他。你们看见了以后，还是不悔悟去信他。”

他口中的言语尽是罪孽诡诈，他不再有智慧，也不再行善。他在床上图谋罪孽，定意行不善的道，不憎恶恶事。

在公义的路上有生命；在其道上并无死亡。

我看见她被污辱，姊妹二人同行一路。

至于那偏行弯曲道路的人，耶和华必将他们和作恶的人一同驱逐出去。愿平安归于以色列！

迦百农啊，你以为要被举到天上吗？你要被推下阴间！因为在你那里所行的异能，若行在所多玛，它还可以存留到今日。但我告诉你们，在审判的日子，所多玛地方所受的，比你们还容易受呢！”
