此等不信之人被这世界的神弄瞎了心眼，不叫基督荣耀福音的光照着他们。基督本是神的像。我们原不是传自己，乃是传基督耶稣为主，并且自己因耶稣作你们的仆人。那吩咐光从黑暗里照出来的神，已经照在我们心里，叫我们得知神荣耀的光显在耶稣基督的面上。

因我们神怜悯的心肠，叫清晨的日光从高天临到我们，要照亮坐在黑暗中死荫里的人，把我们的脚引到平安的路上。”

约翰是点着的明灯，你们情愿暂时喜欢他的光。

那坐在黑暗里的百姓看见了大光；坐在死荫之地的人有光发现照着他们。”

因为诫命是灯，法则是光，训诲的责备是生命的道，

耶稣又对众人说：“我是世界的光。跟从我的，就不在黑暗里走，必要得着生命的光。”

兴起，发光！因为你的光已经来到！耶和华的荣耀发现照耀你。看哪，黑暗遮盖大地，幽暗遮盖万民，耶和华却要显现照耀你；他的荣耀要现在你身上。

就是禁戒祭偶像的物和血，并勒死的牲畜和奸淫。这几件你们若能自己禁戒不犯就好了。愿你们平安！”

这地方的人贤于帖撒罗尼迦的人，甘心领受这道，天天考查圣经，要晓得这道是与不是。

信神儿子的，就有这见证在他心里；不信神的，就是将神当作说谎的，因不信神为他儿子作的见证。

所以，你们不要与他们同伙。从前你们是暗昧的，但如今在主里面是光明的，行事为人就当像光明的子女。

耶和华对假神说：“你们要呈上你们的案件；雅各的君说：你们要声明你们确实的理由。可以声明，指示我们将来必遇的事，说明先前的是什么事，好叫我们思索，得知事的结局，或者把将来的事指示我们。要说明后来的事，好叫我们知道你们是神。你们或降福，或降祸，使我们惊奇，一同观看。

耶和华的律法全备，能苏醒人心；耶和华的法度确定，能使愚人有智慧。耶和华的训词正直，能快活人的心；耶和华的命令清洁，能明亮人的眼目。耶和华的道理洁净，存到永远；耶和华的典章真实，全然公义。

经上记着说：“要爱人如己。”你们若全守这至尊的律法才是好的。

论到这救恩，那预先说你们要得恩典的众先知早已详细地寻求考察，

谁从起初指明这事，使我们知道呢？谁从先前说明，使我们说他不错呢？谁也没有指明；谁也没有说明；谁也没有听见你们的话。

亚伯拉罕说：‘他们有摩西和先知的话可以听从。’他说：‘我祖亚伯拉罕哪，不是的，若有一个从死里复活的，到他们那里去的，他们必要悔改。’亚伯拉罕说：‘若不听从摩西和先知的话，就是有一个从死里复活的，他们也是不听劝。’”
