又要膏寧示的孫子耶戶作以色列王，還要膏亞伯．米何拉人沙法的兒子以利沙接續你作先知。

你要拿著這瓶膏油，把油倒在他的頭上，說：“耶和華這樣說：‘我膏立你作王統治以色列。’然後，你要開門逃跑，不可停留。”

亞哈謝去見約蘭，就遇了害，這原是出於神；因為他去到以後，就和約蘭一同出去攻擊寧示的孫子耶戶。這耶戶就是耶和華所膏的，為要除滅亞哈家。

“我已經在錫安我的聖山上，立了我的君王。”

“我既然從塵埃中高舉了你，立你作我的子民以色列的領袖；然而，你卻走耶羅波安的路，使我的子民以色列犯罪，因他們的罪惹我發怒。

百夫長就帶保羅的外甥去見千夫長，說：“囚犯保羅請了我去，求我帶這個青年人來見你，他有事要向你報告。”千夫長拉著他的手，走到一邊，私下問他：“你有甚麼事要向我報告？”

你必被趕逐，離開人群，和野地的走獸同住；你必像牛一樣吃草，要經過七年的時期；等到你承認至高者在世人的國中掌權，他喜歡把國賜給誰，就賜給誰。”

僕人住在你揀選的子民中；這些子民很多，多得不能數算。

“我耶和華所膏立的古列，我緊握著他的右手，使列國降服在他面前；我也鬆開列王的腰帶；我使門戶在他面前敞開，使城門不得關閉；耶和華對古列這樣說：

高升不是從東面來，不是從西面來，也不是曠野來，

耶和華你的神是應當稱頌的！他喜悅你，使你坐在以色列的王位上；因為耶和華永遠喜愛以色列，所以立你作王，要你秉行公義。”

在那裡撒督祭司和拿單先知要膏立他作以色列的王。你們要吹角，說：‘所羅門王萬歲！’

這是守望者宣告的裁決，是聖者頒布的決定，好使世人都知道：至高者在世人的國中掌權，他喜歡把國賜給誰，就賜給誰，甚至立最卑微的人執掌國權。

但他心高氣傲、妄自尊大的時候，就從國位上被趕下來，他的尊榮也被奪去。他被趕逐，離開人群，他的心變如獸心，他和野驢同住，像牛一樣吃草，身體被天露滴濕；等到他承認至高的神在世人的國中掌權，他喜歡誰，就立誰執掌國權。

他改變時間、季節；他廢王、立王；他賜智慧給智慧人，賜知識給聰明人。

你去告訴耶羅波安：‘耶和華以色列的神這樣說：我從人民中提拔了你，又立了你作治理我的子民以色列的領袖。
