When Ahaziah king of Judah saw what had happened, he fled up the road to Beth Haggan. Jehu chased him, shouting,“ Kill him too!” They wounded him in his chariot on the way up to Gur near Ibleam, but he escaped to Megiddo and died there.

Ahaziah, the king of Judah, saw what had happened. So he tried to get away. He went up the road toward Beth Haggan. Jehu chased him. He shouted,“ Kill him too!” Jehu’s men wounded Ahaziah in his chariot. It happened on the way up to Gur near Ibleam. But Ahaziah escaped to Megiddo. And that’s where he died.

When Ahaziah the king of Judah saw this, he fled in the direction of Beth-haggan. And Jehu pursued him and said,“ Shoot him also.” And they shot him in the chariot at the ascent of Gur, which is by Ibleam. And he fled to Megiddo and died there.

When King Ahaziah of Judah saw what was happening, he fled along the road to Beth haggan. Jehu rode after him, shouting,“ Shoot him, too!” So they shot Ahaziah in his chariot at the Ascent of Gur, near Ibleam. He was able to go on as far as Megiddo, but he died there.

玛拿西人没有赶走伯·善、他纳、多珥、以伯莲和米吉多众城邑及周围村庄的居民，因为这些迦南人执意住在那里。

便回到耶斯列疗伤。犹大王亚哈谢前去探望。

约西亚执政期间，埃及王尼哥前往幼发拉底河援助亚述王，约西亚出兵迎战尼哥，在米吉多被杀。他的臣仆用车把他的尸体从米吉多运回耶路撒冷，安葬在他的墓穴里。民众膏立他儿子约哈斯做王。

与智者同行必得智慧，与愚人结伴必受亏损。

一天，亚哈对拿伯说：“你的葡萄园靠近我的王宫，你把它让给我作菜园吧。我可以用更好的葡萄园来跟你交换，如果你愿意，我也可以按地价付你钱。”

亚哈谢去见约兰，遇害身亡，这事出于上帝。原来他到那里后便与约兰去攻击宁示的孙子耶户。耶户是耶和华膏立去毁灭亚哈家的人。耶户讨伐亚哈家的时候，遇见犹大众首领和亚哈谢的众侄儿，他们都是服侍亚哈谢的，耶户就把他们全部杀掉。然后耶户搜捕亚哈谢，民众找到躲在撒玛利亚的亚哈谢，把他押到耶户那里杀了。他们念他是全心寻求耶和华的约沙法的孙子，就把他埋葬了。这样，亚哈谢家无人能保住王位。

又说：“所以，你们要从他们中间出来，离开他们，不要沾染污秽之物，我就接纳你们。
