哨兵又禀告说：“他到了那里，也没有回来。那人驾车很猛，一定是宁示的孙子耶户。”

那哨兵又报告：“他已经去到他那里，却没有回来。那驾车的手法很像宁示的孙子耶户，因为他驾车很凶猛。”

守望的人又說：「他到了他們那裏，也不回來；車趕得甚猛，像寧示的孫子耶戶的趕法。」

守望的人又說：「他到了他們那裏，也不回來。車駕得很兇猛，好像寧示的孫子耶戶在駕車。」

守望的人又說：「他到了他們那裏，也不回來。車駕得很兇猛，好像寧示的孫子耶戶在駕車。」

哨兵又稟告說：「他到了那裡，也沒有回來。那人駕車很猛，一定是寧示的孫子耶戶。」

那哨兵又報告：“他已經去到他那裡，卻沒有回來。那駕車的手法很像寧示的孫子耶戶，因為他駕車很兇猛。”

守望人又報告說：『他到了他們那裏，也沒有回來。那趕車的手法很像寧示的孫子耶戶的趕法，趕得很兇猛。』

守望者又告曰、使者至彼而不返、來者御車之勢、有若寧示孫耶戶、蓋其御猛甚也、

戍卒又告王曰、使者至彼、惟不反命。來者御車甚猛、有若寧示之孫耶戶。

守望者又告曰、使者至彼、亦不見其返、車御甚猛、似寧示孫耶戶之御、

The lookout reported,“ He has reached them, but he isn’t coming back either. The driving is like that of Jehu son of Nimshi— he drives like a maniac.”

The lookout reported,“ The second messenger has reached them. But he isn’t coming back either. The one driving the chariot drives like Jehu, the son of Nimshi. He’s driving like a crazy person.”

Again the watchman reported,“ He reached them, but he is not coming back. And the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.”

The watchman exclaimed,“ The messenger has met them, but he isn’t returning either! It must be Jehu son of Nimshi, for he’s driving like a madman.”

Again the watchman reported,“ He reached them but hasn’t started back. Also, the driving is like that of Jehu son of Nimshi— he drives like a madman.”

And the watchman reported,“ He came up to them, but he did not return; and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.”

So the watchman reported, saying,“ He went up to them and is not coming back; and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously!”

And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not back: and the driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.

Again the watchman reported,“ He reached them but hasn’t started back. Also, the driving is like that of Jehu son of Nimshi— he drives like a madman.”

And the watchman told, saying, He came even unto them, and cometh not again: and the driving[ is] like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi; for he driveth furiously.

The watchman reported,“ He reached them, but hasn’t started back. The one who drives the lead chariot drives like Jehu son of Nimshi; he drives recklessly.”

The watchman said,“ He came to them, and isn’t coming back. The driving is like the driving of Jehu the son of Nimshi, for he drives furiously.”

守望的人说：“我看前面那人的跑法，好像撒督的儿子亚希玛斯的跑法。”王说：“他是个好人，是来报好消息的。”

看哪，我必兴起迦勒底人，就是那残忍暴躁之民，通行遍地，霸占不属自己的住处。

耶户说：“你和我同去，看我为耶和华怎样热心。”于是他们请他坐在车上。

将来逃过哈薛之刀的，必被耶户所杀；逃过耶户之刀的，必被以利沙所杀。

凡你手所当做的事，要尽力去做；因为在你所必须去的阴间没有工作，没有谋算，没有知识，也没有智慧。

看哪，我造了那吹炭火、打造合用兵器的铁匠；我也造了那残害人、行毁灭的人。

但从东方和北方必有消息传来扰乱他，他就大发烈怒出去，要将许多人杀灭净尽。

你发怒遍行大地，以怒气责打列国，如打谷一般。
