Now Jehu went out to the servants of his master, and one said to him,“ Is everything well? Why did this crazy fellow come to you?” And he said to them,“ You know very well the man and his talk.”

耶戶出、至其主之諸臣、其一問曰、安乎、此顚狂者詣爾何事、曰、爾識其人、亦知其言、

耶戶出、見王之群臣、其一問曰、安乎、彼心狂者、見爾何為。曰、爾識其人、知其所言。

耶戶出、見其主王之臣僕、彼問曰、平安乎、彼顛狂者來見爾何故、謂之曰、爾曹識其人、亦知其所言、

When Jehu went out to his fellow officers, one of them asked him,“ Is everything all right? Why did this maniac come to you?”“ You know the man and the sort of things he says,” Jehu replied.

Jehu went out to where the other officers were. One of them asked him,“ Is everything all right? Why did that crazy man come to you?”“ You know the man. You know the kinds of things he says,” Jehu replied.

When Jehu came out to the servants of his master, they said to him,“ Is all well? Why did this mad fellow come to you?” And he said to them,“ You know the fellow and his talk.”

Jehu went back to his fellow officers, and one of them asked him,“ What did that madman want? Is everything all right?”“ You know how a man like that babbles on,” Jehu replied.

When Jehu came out to his master’s servants, they asked,“ Is everything all right? Why did this crazy person come to you?” Then he said to them,“ You know the sort and their ranting.”

Then Jehu came out to the servants of his master, and one said to him,“ Is all well? Why did this madman come to you?” And he said to them,“ You know the man and his babble.”

Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and one said unto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellow to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man and what his talk was.

When Jehu came out to his master’s servants, they asked,“ Is everything all right? Why did this crazy person come to you?” Then he said to them,“ You know the sort and their ranting.”

Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord: and[ one] said unto him,[ Is] all well? wherefore came this mad[ fellow] to thee? And he said unto them, Ye know the man, and his communication.

When Jehu rejoined his master’s servants, they asked him,“ Is everything all right? Why did this madman visit you?” He replied,“ Ah, it’s not important. You know what kind of man he is and the kinds of things he says.”

When Jehu came out to the servants of his lord, and one said to him,“ Is all well? Why did this mad fellow come to you?” He said to them,“ You know the man and how he talks.”

“ The Lord has made you priest instead of Jehoiada the priest, to be the overseer of the house of the Lord for every insane person who prophesies, to put him in the stocks and in the iron collar.

Many of them were saying,“ He has a demon and is insane. Why do you listen to Him?”

While Paul was stating these things in his defense, Festus* said in a loud voice,“ Paul, you are out of your mind! Your great learning is driving you insane.”

The days of punishment have come, The days of retribution have come; Let Israel know this! The prophet is a fool, The inspired person is insane, Because of the grossness of your wrongdoing, And because your hostility is so great.

Then he sent a second horseman, and he came to them and said,“ This is what the king says:‘ Is your intention peace?’ ” And Jehu answered,“ How is peace any business of yours? Turn and follow me.”

When Joram saw Jehu, he said,“ Is your intention peace, Jehu?” And he answered,“ What‘ peace,’ so long as your mother Jezebel’s acts of prostitution and witchcraft are so many?”

So Gehazi pursued Naaman. When Naaman saw someone running after him, he came down from the chariot to meet him and said,“ Is everything well?”

And when His own people heard about this, they came out to take custody of Him; for they were saying,“ He has lost His senses.”

Now the watchman was standing on the tower in Jezreel and he saw the company of Jehu as he came, and he said,“ I see a company.” And Joram said,“ Take a horseman and send him to meet them and have him ask,‘ Is your intention peace?’ ”

Truth is lacking, And one who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey. Now the Lord saw, And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice.

And some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers as well were conversing with him. Some were saying,“ What could this scavenger of tidbits want to say?” Others,“ He seems to be a proclaimer of strange deities,”— because he was preaching Jesus and the resurrection.

We are fools on account of Christ, but you are prudent in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are without honor!

For if we have lost our minds, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you.

Please run now to meet her and say to her,‘ Is it going well for you? Is it going well for your husband? Is it going well for the child?’ ” Then she answered,“ It is going well.”
