The prophet Elisha summoned a man from the company of the prophets and said to him,“ Tuck your cloak into your belt, take this flask of olive oil with you and go to Ramoth Gilead.

Elisha the prophet sent for a man from the group of the prophets. Elisha said to him,“ Tuck your coat into your belt. Take this bottle of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth Gilead.

Then Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets and said to him,“ Tie up your garments, and take this flask of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead.

Meanwhile, Elisha the prophet had summoned a member of the group of prophets.“ Get ready to travel,” he told him,“ and take this flask of olive oil with you. Go to Ramoth gilead,

Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him,“ Put your belt on your waist, take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramoth Gilead.

撒母耳把一瓶膏油倒在扫罗的头上，亲吻他，说：“耶和华已经膏立你做祂子民的首领。

他联合亚哈的儿子约兰到基列的拉末与亚兰王哈薛交战。约兰受了伤，便回到耶斯列疗伤。犹大王亚哈谢前去探望。

撒督祭司从圣幕里拿来盛膏油的角，膏立所罗门为王。他们吹响号角，民众高声欢呼：“所罗门王万岁！”

耶和华的灵降在以利亚身上，他就束上腰带，飞奔回城，在亚哈之前到达耶斯列的城门。

现在，你要做好准备，去把我吩咐你的话告诉他们。不要惧怕他们，不然我将使你在他们面前充满恐惧。

所以，要预备好你们的心，谨慎自律，专心盼望耶稣基督显现时要带给你们的恩典。

他问约沙法：“你愿意跟我一起去攻打基列的拉末吗？”约沙法回答说：“你我不分彼此，我的民就是你的民，我的马就是你的马。”

“你们要束上腰带，准备服侍，要点亮灯，像奴仆们等候主人从婚宴回来。主人回来一叩门，奴仆就可以立即给他开门。主人回来，看见奴仆警醒等候，奴仆就有福了！我实在告诉你们，主人必束上腰带请他们坐席，并亲自服侍他们。

你们亲眼看见耶和华在巴力·毗珥事件中的作为，你们的上帝耶和华毁灭了你们中间所有拜巴力·毗珥的人，

有一个先知的妻子哀求以利沙说：“你仆人——我丈夫怎样敬畏耶和华，你是知道的。如今他去世了，债主来取我的两个孩子做奴隶。”

伯特利的众先知出来见以利沙，问他：“你知道耶和华今天要接走你师傅吗？”他说：“我知道，请不要作声。”

一群先知对以利沙说：“你看，我们住的地方实在太小了。请让我们去约旦河吧，我们每人都可以从那里砍一根木头盖房子居住。”以利沙说：“你们去吧。”其中一人请以利沙一起去，以利沙答应了，

耶和华说，‘谁愿意去引诱亚哈到基列的拉末去送死呢？’众天军议论纷纷。

众先知中有一位奉耶和华的命令对他的同伴说：“你打我吧！”同伴却不肯动手。

“以色列人啊，要聆听我传授给你们的律法，要切实遵行，以便你们可以存活，并进入你们祖先的上帝耶和华赐给你们的那片土地。
