對曰、以利沙曾使死者復生。言間、所甦其子之婦、為室與田呼告於王。其哈西曰、我主我王與、昔以利沙所甦之子、即此子也、此婦即其母也。

Just as Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life, the woman whose son Elisha had brought back to life came to appeal to the king for her house and land. Gehazi said,“ This is the woman, my lord the king, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.”

Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had brought a dead boy back to life. Just then the woman came to ask the king to get her house and land back. She was the woman whose son Elisha had brought back to life. Gehazi said,“ King Joram, this is the woman I’ve been telling you about. And this is her son. He’s the one Elisha brought back to life.”

And while he was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life appealed to the king for her house and her land. And Gehazi said,“ My lord, O king, here is the woman, and here is her son whom Elisha restored to life.”

And Gehazi was telling the king about the time Elisha had brought a boy back to life. At that very moment, the mother of the boy walked in to make her appeal to the king about her house and land.“ Look, my lord the king!” Gehazi exclaimed.“ Here is the woman now, and this is her son— the very one Elisha brought back to life!”

While he was telling the king how Elisha restored the dead son to life, the woman whose son he had restored to life came to appeal to the king for her house and field. So Gehazi said,“ My lord the king, this is the woman and this is the son Elisha restored to life.”

And as he was reporting to the king how he had restored to life the one who was dead, behold, the woman whose son he had restored to life appealed to the king for her house and for her field. And Gehazi said,“ My lord the king, this is the woman and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.”

Now it happened, as he was telling the king how he had restored the dead to life, that there was the woman whose son he had restored to life, appealing to the king for her house and for her land. And Gehazi said,“ My Lord, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.”

And it came to pass, as he was telling the king how he had restored to life him that was dead, that, behold, the woman, whose son he had restored to life, cried to the king for her house and for her land. Who can speak of his descendants? For his life was taken from the earth.”The eunuch asked Philip,“ Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?”Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said,“ Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?” (niv)
