Then the man of God asked,“ Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, the man of God cut a piece of wood, threw it there, and made the iron float.

神人问说：“掉在哪里了？”他将那地方指给以利沙看。以利沙砍了一根木头，抛在水里，斧头就漂上来了。

上帝僕曰、墜於何所、遂示其處、則斬木投水、鐵上浮、

The man of God asked,“ Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it there, and made the iron float.

The man of God asked,“ Where did the blade fall?” He showed Elisha the place. Then Elisha cut a stick and threw it there. That made the iron blade float.

Then the man of God said,“ Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, he cut off a stick and threw it in there and made the iron float.

“ Where did it fall?” the man of God asked. When he showed him the place, Elisha cut a stick and threw it into the water at that spot. Then the ax head floated to the surface.

Then the man of God said,“ Where did it fall?” And when he showed him the place, he cut off a stick and threw it in there, and made the iron float.

The prophet asked,“ Where did it drop in?” When he showed him the spot, Elisha cut off a branch, threw it in at that spot, and made the ax head float.

Elisha went out to the spring, threw salt in it, and said,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ I have healed this water. No longer will death or unfruitfulness result from it.’”

So he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree. When he threw it into the water, the water became drinkable. The LORD made a statute and ordinance for them at Marah, and he tested them there.

Then Elisha said,“ Get some flour.” He threw it into the pot and said,“ Serve it for the people to eat.” And there was nothing bad in the pot.

After he said these things he spit on the ground, made some mud from the saliva, and spread the mud on his eyes.“ Go,” he told him,“ wash in the pool of Siloam”( which means“ Sent”). So he left, washed, and came back seeing.

He took the blind man by the hand and brought him out of the village. Spitting on his eyes and laying his hands on him, he asked him,“ Do you see anything?”He looked up and said,“ I see people— they look like trees walking.”Again Jesus placed his hands on the man’s eyes. The man looked intently and his sight was restored and he saw everything clearly.

So he took him away from the crowd in private. After putting his fingers in the man’s ears and spitting, he touched his tongue.Looking up to heaven, he sighed deeply and said to him,“ Ephphatha!”( that is,“ Be opened!”).
