神人以利沙的僕人基哈西說：「看哪，我主人不願從這亞蘭人乃縵手裏接受他帶來的禮物，我指着永生的耶和華起誓，我必跑去追上他，向他拿些東西。」

神人以利沙的仆人基哈西心里说：“我主人不愿从这亚兰人乃缦手里受他带来的礼物，我指着永生的耶和华起誓，我必跑去追上他，向他要些。”

神人以利沙的仆人基哈西说：“看哪，我主人不愿从这亚兰人乃缦手里接受他带来的礼物，我指着永生的耶和华起誓，我必跑去追上他，向他拿些东西。”

乃缦刚走不远，上帝仆人以利沙的仆人基哈西心想：“我主人没有收亚兰人乃缦带来的礼物就让他走了。我凭永活的耶和华起誓，我一定要追上去，向他要点东西。”

神人以利沙的仆人基哈西心里说：“看哪，我主人不肯从这亚兰人乃缦手中收取他带来的礼物；我指着永活的耶和华起誓，我要追上他，向他要些东西。”

神人以利沙的僕人基哈西心裏說：「我主人不願從這亞蘭人乃縵手裏受他帶來的禮物，我指着永生的耶和華起誓，我必跑去追上他，向他要些。」

乃縵剛走不遠，上帝僕人以利沙的僕人基哈西心想：「我主人沒有收亞蘭人乃縵帶來的禮物就讓他走了。我憑永活的耶和華起誓，我一定要追上去，向他要點東西。」

神人以利沙的僕人基哈西心裡說：“看哪，我主人不肯從這亞蘭人乃縵手中收取他帶來的禮物；我指著永活的耶和華起誓，我要追上他，向他要些東西。”

神人的僮僕基哈西心裏說：『看哪，我主人顧惜這一位亞蘭人乃縵，不從他手裏接收他所帶來的東西。我指着永活的永恆主來起誓、我一定要跑去追上他，向他要一點。』

上帝僕以利沙之僕基哈西曰、我主惜此亞蘭人乃縵之費、不受其手所攜者、我指維生之耶和華而誓、我必追之、少索其物、

上帝僕以利沙之從者、其哈西私念曰、我主釋此亞蘭人乃慢、不受其所饋、我指耶和華以誓、我將追之、冀有少得。

神人以利沙之僕基哈西私念曰、我主人不願由此亞蘭人乃縵手、受其所攜、我指永生主而誓、我趨而追之、向其稍索、

Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said to himself,“ My master was too easy on Naaman, this Aramean, by not accepting from him what he brought. As surely as the Lord lives, I will run after him and get something from him.”

Gehazi was the servant of Elisha, the man of God. Gehazi said to himself,“ My master was too easy on Naaman from Aram. He should have accepted the gift Naaman brought. I’m going to run after him. I’m going to get something from him. And that’s just as sure as the Lord is alive.”

Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said,“ See, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not accepting from his hand what he brought. As the Lord lives, I will run after him and get something from him.”

But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, the man of God, said to himself,“ My master should not have let this Aramean get away without accepting any of his gifts. As surely as the Lord lives, I will chase after him and get something from him.”

Gehazi, the attendant of Elisha the man of God, thought,“ My master has let this Aramean Naaman off lightly by not accepting from him what he brought. As the LORD lives, I will run after him and get something from him.”

But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, thought,“ Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Aramean, by not accepting from his hand what he brought. As the Lord lives, I will run after him and take something from him.”

But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said,“ Look, my master has spared Naaman this Syrian, while not receiving from his hands what he brought; but as the Lord lives, I will run after him and take something from him.”

But Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: as Jehovah liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

Gehazi, the attendant of Elisha the man of God, thought: My master has let this Aramean Naaman off lightly by not accepting from him what he brought. As the Lord lives, I will run after him and get something from him.

But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but,[ as] the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

Gehazi, the prophet Elisha’s servant, thought,“ Look, my master did not accept what this Syrian Naaman offered him. As certainly as the LORD lives, I will run after him and accept something from him.”

But Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said,“ Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought. As Yahweh lives, I will run after him, and take something from him.”

以利沙吩咐僕人基哈西說：「你叫這書念婦人來。」他把婦人叫了來，婦人就站在以利沙面前。

「不可妄稱耶和華－你上帝的名，因為妄稱耶和華名的，耶和華必不以他為無罪。

王說：「我今日若容許沙法的兒子以利沙的頭還留在他身上，願上帝重重懲罰我！」

基哈西在他們以先去了，把杖放在孩子臉上，卻沒有聲音，也沒有動靜。基哈西回去，迎見以利沙，告訴他說：「孩子還沒有醒過來。」

以利沙叫基哈西說：「你叫這書念婦人來。」於是他叫了她來。婦人來到以利沙那裏，以利沙說：「把你兒子抱起來。」

西門看見使徒一按手，就有聖靈賜下，就拿錢給使徒，說：「請把這權柄也給我，使我手按着誰，誰就可以領受聖靈。」

他們滿眼是淫色，是止不住的罪，引誘心不堅定的人，心中習慣了貪婪，正是被詛咒的種類。他們離棄了正路，走入歧途，隨從比珥的兒子巴蘭的路；巴蘭就是那貪愛不義的工錢的人，

主人就誇獎這不義的管家做事精明，因為今世之子應付自己的世代比光明之子更加精明。

務要牧養在你們當中上帝的羣羊，按着上帝的旨意照顧他們，不是出於勉強，而是出於甘心；也不是因為貪財，而是出於樂意。

把錢私自留下一部分，他的妻子也知道，其餘的部分拿來放在使徒腳前。

你的眼和你的心卻專顧不義之財，流無辜人的血，行欺壓和殘暴。

「為甚麼不把這香膏賣三百個銀幣去賙濟窮人呢？」他說這話，並不是關心窮人，而是因為他是個賊，又管錢囊，常偷取錢囊中所存的。

於是他對他們說：「你們要謹慎自守，躲避一切的貪心，因為人的生命不在於家道豐富。」

我指着拯救以色列的永生的耶和華起誓，就是我兒子約拿單犯了罪，他也必被處死。」但眾百姓中無人回答他。

因為惡人以自己的心願自誇，貪財的背棄耶和華，並且輕慢他。

禍哉！那為本家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩、指望得免災禍的人！

「不可貪戀你鄰舍的房屋；不可貪戀你鄰舍的妻子、奴僕、婢女、牛驢，以及他一切所有的。」

監督既然是上帝的管家，必須無可指責、不自負、不暴躁、不酗酒、不好鬥、不貪財；

激進黨的西門，還有出賣耶穌的加略人猶大。

耶穌回答他們：「我不是揀選了你們十二個嗎？但你們中間有一個是魔鬼。」

但那些想要發財的人就陷在誘惑、羅網和許多無知有害的慾望中，使人沉淪，以致敗壞和滅亡。貪財是萬惡之根。有人因貪戀錢財而背離信仰，用許多愁苦把自己刺透了。但你這屬上帝的人哪，要逃避這些事；要追求公義、敬虔、信心、愛心、忍耐、溫柔。

晚餐的時候，魔鬼已把出賣耶穌的意思放在加略人西門的兒子猶大心裏。

因為底馬貪愛現今的世界，已經離棄我，往帖撒羅尼迦去了；革勒士往加拉太去；提多往撻馬太去；

懶惰人眼看自己比七個善於應對的人更有智慧。
