So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy.

「到那天，必為大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民開一個泉源，洗淨他們的罪惡和污穢。

祂母親對僕人說：「祂叫你們做什麼，你們就做什麼。」

我的僕婢告我，我也會講公道，

主耶穌為我們犧牲自己，要救贖我們脫離一切罪惡，並潔淨我們，使我們作祂的子民，成為熱心行善的人。

一句話說得合宜，就像金蘋果放在銀器裡。對受教者而言，智者的責備猶如金耳環和金飾物。

挪亞因為有信心，在上帝指示他未來要發生的事之後，就懷著敬畏的心建造方舟，來救全家的人。他藉著信心定了那個世代的罪，並承受了因信而來的義。亞伯拉罕因為有信心，聽到上帝的呼召後，就遵命前往他將要承受為產業的地方，但他出發的時候還不知道自己要去哪裡。

第二天清晨，眾人起來去提哥亞的曠野。他們出發的時候，約沙法站著說：「猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民啊，請聽我說！要信靠你們的上帝耶和華，你們就必堅立；要相信祂的先知，你們就必得勝。」

教導智者，他就更有智慧；指教義人，他就更有見識。
