Now Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the Lord had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy.

Naaman was army commander of the king of Aram. He was very important to his master and was highly respected. That’s because the Lord had helped him win the battle over Aram’s enemies. He was a brave soldier. But he had a skin disease.

Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.

The king of Aram had great admiration for Naaman, the commander of his army, because through him the Lord had given Aram great victories. But though Naaman was a mighty warrior, he suffered from leprosy.

又先知以利沙時、以色列民間有多癩者、而無一人得潔、惟敘利亞人乃縵得潔、

雲亦離幕、米利暗忽患癩、色白如雪、亞倫回顧米利暗見其患癩、亞倫謂摩西曰、我二人愚昧得罪、求我主毋以罪歸我儕、莫使之如出母胎半身腐爛已死者然、

城門前、有癩者四人、相語曰、我坐此而待死何為、

非基督藉我所成之事不敢言、惟敢言基督藉我以言以行、以異跡奇事之能、及天主之神之大力、使異邦人順從、如是、我自耶路撒冷及其四周、至於以利利公、遍傳基督福音、

猶大人末底改在亞哈隨魯王前為相、在猶大人中為尊、見悅於同族、為其民求利益、又慰藉其宗族焉、又慰藉其宗族焉或作又向宗族言平康

人若肌膚有疥、或癬或斑、似乎癩疾、癩疾或作癲瘋下同即當攜至祭司亞倫前、或其子孫為祭司者前、祭司察其肌膚患處、若患處之毫變白、患處較他處之肌膚顯深、或作且患處顯深透內皮下同即為癩疾、祭司既察之、則定之為不潔、

烏西雅怒、手執香爐欲焚香、向祭司震怒時、在主殿中、在焚香臺旁、諸祭司前、額忽患癩、祭司長亞薩利雅與眾祭司觀之、見其額患癩、遂促之出、王亦速出、自知為主所擊、烏西雅王患癩直至死日、既癩、獨居異室、不得入主殿、其子約坦理王之家、治治或作鞫國之民、烏西雅其餘之事、自始至終、為亞摩斯子先知以賽亞所記、烏西雅與列祖同寢、因其患癩、葬於屬王陵之田、在祖陵側、子約坦繼其位、

故爾必患乃縵之癩、爰及苗裔、至於永世、基哈西遂由以利沙前出、成癩、白如雪、

我以大力巨能、創造大地、與地上人民牲畜、我以地賜人、惟我所悅、今我以此諸國、賜我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、亦以田野之百獸賜之、為其使役、

惟亞捫人之境、凡沿雅博溪之地、山中諸邑、及主我之天主所禁者、爾未就近以攻之、

既得默示甚多、恐我自高、故加刺於我身、即撒但之使擊我、免我自高、

後、主果使民沾恩於伊及人前、時、摩西在伊及地、為法老臣民所重視、○

一日、以利沙至書念、在彼有一富婦、促之飲食、飲食原文作食餅下同此後每經其所、則入而飲食、

蓋末底改在朝廷爵位益大、其名揚於各州、日以昌大、

流其血之罪、歸約押首、及其父之全家、願約押家患白濁者、有癩疾者、扶杖而行者、亡於刃者、匱乏飲食者、恆有不絕、

集馬以備戰之日、獲勝乃在乎主、

亞述人必受禍、我怒如梃、我忿猶杖、為其手所執、我遣之攻邪惡之國、命之罰我所怒之民、擄掠攘奪、蹂躪人民、若街衢之泥然、

耶穌曰、非自上賜爾、則爾無權治我、故解我於爾者、其罪更大、
