She went and told the man of God, and he said,“ Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

你们自己本来就知道应当怎样效法我们，因为我们在你们中间并没有游手好闲，也没有白吃过谁的饭，反而辛苦劳碌，昼夜作工，免得加重你们任何一人的负担。这不是因为我们没有权利，而是要给你们作榜样，好让你们效法我们。我们在你们那里的时候，曾经吩咐过你们，如果有人不肯作工，就不可吃饭。因为我们听说，你们中间有人游手好闲，什么工也不作，反倒专管闲事。我们靠着主耶稣基督，吩咐劝戒这样的人，要安静作工，自食其力。

弟兄们，你们应该记得我们的辛苦和劳碌；我们把神的福音传给你们的时候，怎样昼夜作工，免得你们有人受累。我们对你们信的人是多么圣洁、公义、无可指摘，这是你们和神都可以作证的。

最后，弟兄们，凡是真实的、庄重的、公正的、纯洁的、可爱的、声誉好的，无论是什么美德，什么称赞，这些事你们都应当思念。

但是，神的话临到神人示玛雅，说：

使你们行事为人可以得到外人的尊敬，自己也不会有什么缺乏了。

不可以恶报恶。大家以为美的事，要努力去作。

恶人借贷总不偿还，义人却慷慨施舍。
