A man came from Baal Shalishah, bringing the man of God twenty loaves of barley bread baked from the first ripe grain, along with some heads of new grain.“ Give it to the people to eat,” Elisha said.

A man came from Baal Shalishah. He brought the man of God 20 loaves of barley bread. They had been baked from the first grain that had ripened. The man also brought some heads of new grain.“ Give this food to the people to eat,” Elisha said.

One day a man from Baal shalishah brought the man of God a sack of fresh grain and twenty loaves of barley bread made from the first grain of his harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people so they can eat.”

A man from Baal-shalishah came to the man of God with his sack full of twenty loaves of barley bread from the first bread of the harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people to eat.”

Now a man came from Baal shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first fruits, twenty loaves of barley and fresh grain in his sack. And Elisha said,“ Give them to the people that they may eat.”

Then a man came from Baal Shalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley bread, and newly ripened grain in his knapsack. And he said,“ Give it to the people, that they may eat.”

And there came a man from Baal- shalishah, and brought the man of God bread of the first- fruits, twenty loaves of barley, and fresh ears of grain in his sack. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.

A man from Baal-shalishah came to the man of God with his sack full of 20 loaves of barley bread from the first bread of the harvest. Elisha said,“ Give it to the people to eat.”

And there came a man from Baalshalisha, and brought the man of God bread of the firstfruits, twenty loaves of barley, and full ears of corn in the husk thereof. And he said, Give unto the people, that they may eat.

Now a man from Baal Shalisha brought some food for the prophet– twenty loaves of bread made from the firstfruits of the barley harvest, as well as fresh ears of grain. Elisha said,“ Set it before the people so they may eat.”

A man from Baal Shalishah came, and brought the man of God some bread of the first fruits: twenty loaves of barley and fresh ears of grain in his sack. He said,“ Give to the people, that they may eat.”

Then Saul said to his servant,“ But if we go, what can we bring the man? For the bread in our sacks is gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?”

And he passed through the hill country of Ephraim and passed through the land of Shalishah, but they did not find them. And they passed through the land of Shaalim, but they were not there. Then they passed through the land of Benjamin, but did not find them.

So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten.

“ There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many?”

If we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?

And Elisha came again to Gilgal when there was a famine in the land. And as the sons of the prophets were sitting before him, he said to his servant,“ Set on the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

But Elisha said,“ Hear the word of the Lord: thus says the Lord, Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.”

You shall keep the Feast of Harvest, of the firstfruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. You shall keep the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in from the field the fruit of your labor.

Curds from the herd, and milk from the flock, with fat of lambs, rams of Bashan and goats, with the very finest of the wheat— and you drank foaming wine made from the blood of the grape.

and there you shall bring your burnt offerings and your sacrifices, your tithes and the contribution that you present, your vow offerings, your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock.

you shall take some of the first of all the fruit of the ground, which you harvest from your land that the Lord your God is giving you, and you shall put it in a basket, and you shall go to the place that the Lord your God will choose, to make his name to dwell there.And you shall go to the priest who is in office at that time and say to him,‘ I declare today to the Lord your God that I have come into the land that the Lord swore to our fathers to give us.’Then the priest shall take the basket from your hand and set it down before the altar of the Lord your God.“ And you shall make response before the Lord your God,‘ A wandering Aramean was my father. And he went down into Egypt and sojourned there, few in number, and there he became a nation, great, mighty, and populous.And the Egyptians treated us harshly and humiliated us and laid on us hard labor.Then we cried to the Lord, the God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and saw our affliction, our toil, and our oppression.And the Lord brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, with great deeds of terror, with signs and wonders.And he brought us into this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.And behold, now I bring the first of the fruit of the ground, which you, O Lord, have given me.’ And you shall set it down before the Lord your God and worship before the Lord your God.

And the priests and the Levites who were in all Israel presented themselves to him from all places where they lived.For the Levites left their common lands and their holdings and came to Judah and Jerusalem, because Jeroboam and his sons cast them out from serving as priests of the Lord,

Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches.

But Jesus said,“ They need not go away; you give them something to eat.”They said to him,“ We have only five loaves here and two fish.”And he said,“ Bring them here to me.”Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass, and taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and said a blessing. Then he broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up twelve baskets full of the broken pieces left over.And those who ate were about five thousand men, besides women and children.

a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey,

Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce;then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.

Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Syrians. So a seah of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the Lord.Now the king had appointed the captain on whose hand he leaned to have charge of the gate. And the people trampled him in the gate, so that he died, as the man of God had said when the king came down to him.For when the man of God had said to the king,“ Two seahs of barley shall be sold for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, about this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria,”

Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said,“ I have compassion on the crowd because they have been with me now three days and have nothing to eat. And I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way.”And the disciples said to him,“ Where are we to get enough bread in such a desolate place to feed so great a crowd?”And Jesus said to them,“ How many loaves do you have?” They said,“ Seven, and a few small fish.”And directing the crowd to sit down on the ground,he took the seven loaves and the fish, and having given thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.And they all ate and were satisfied. And they took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces left over.Those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
