以利沙吩咐仆人说：“你对她说：你既为我们费了许多心思，可以为你做什么呢？你向王或元帅有所求的没有？”她回答说：“我在我本乡安居无事。”

以利沙吩咐仆人说：“你对她说：‘看哪，你为我们费了许多心思，我可以为你做什么呢？我可以为你向王或元帅求什么呢？’”她说：“我已住在自己百姓之中。”

他对他的仆人说：“你对她说：‘看哪！你为我们费了这么多心思。我可以为你作些什么呢？你有事要我替你向王或军长说的吗？’”她说：“我住在自己的人民中间。”

以利沙對僕人說：『你對婦人說：「看哪，你既對我們費了這一切心思，我可以為你作甚麼事？有沒有甚麼事可以為你向王或軍長稟告的呢？」她回答說：『我在我本族之民中居住、倒是平安無事。』

以利沙謂其僕曰、告之云、爾既為我思慮周密、我當為爾何為、爾於王、或軍長、有所求乎、婦曰、我居於我民中、安甚、

以利沙告從者曰、爾當告婦曰、爾既為我慮之周密、我當為爾何為、或請於王、或請於軍長。婦曰、我居於民間、無不自得。

以利沙命僕曰、爾告之云、爾既為我思慮周密若此、我當為爾何為、爾於王或軍長有何所求乎、婦曰、我在我民中安居焉、

Elisha said to him,“ Tell her,‘ You have gone to all this trouble for us. Now what can be done for you? Can we speak on your behalf to the king or the commander of the army?’” She replied,“ I have a home among my own people.”

He said to Gehazi,“ Tell her,‘ You have gone to a lot of trouble for us. Now what can we do for you? Can we speak to the king for you? Or can we speak to the commander of the army for you?’ ” She replied,“ I live among my own people. I have everything I need here.”

And he said to him,“ Say now to her,‘ See, you have taken all this trouble for us; what is to be done for you? Would you have a word spoken on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’” She answered,“ I dwell among my own people.”

Elisha said to Gehazi,“ Tell her,‘ We appreciate the kind concern you have shown us. What can we do for you? Can we put in a good word for you to the king or to the commander of the army?’”“ No,” she replied,“ my family takes good care of me.”

Then he said to Gehazi,“ Say to her,‘ Look, you’ve gone to all this trouble for us. What can we do for you? Can we speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’” She answered,“ I am living among my own people.”

And he said to him,“ Say now to her,‘ Behold, you have taken trouble for us with all this care; what can I do for you? Would you like me to speak for you to the king or to the commander of the army?’ ” But she answered,“ I live among my own people.”

And he said to him,“ Say now to her,‘ Look, you have been concerned for us with all this care. What can I do for you? Do you want me to speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’” She answered,“ I dwell among my own people.”

And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people.

Then he said to Gehazi,“ Say to her,‘ Look, you’ve gone to all this trouble for us. What can we do for you? Can we speak on your behalf to the king or to the commander of the army?’” She answered,“ I am living among my own people.”

He said to him,“ Say now to her,‘ Behold, you have cared for us with all this care. What is to be done for you? Would you like to be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the army?’” She answered,“ I dwell among my own people.”

「接受你們的，就是接受我；接受我的，就是接受差派我來的那一位。因著先知的名份接受先知的，將得到先知的報償；因著義人的名份接受義人的，將得到義人的報償。無論誰，因著門徒的名份，就是拿一杯涼水給這些卑微人中的一個喝，我確實地告訴你們：他絕不會失去他的報償。」

願主施憐憫給奧尼斯弗羅的家人，因為他多次使我神清氣爽，也沒有以我的鎖鏈為恥；相反，他一到羅馬，就殷切地尋找我，並且找到了。願主使他在那日子得到主的憐憫！至於他在以弗所的一切服事工作，你知道得更清楚。

弟兄們，我們請求你們：要敬重那些在你們中間勞苦做工、在主裡帶領你們、勸誡你們的人，因著他們的工作，要在愛中格外地看重他們。你們要彼此和睦。

也要對亞瑪撒說：『你不是我的骨肉之親嗎？我如果不立你在我面前作元帥，終身替代約押，就願神處置我，重重地處置我！』」

如今我一切都得到了，並且豐足有餘。我已經得以滿足了，因為我從以帕弗迪托接受了來自你們的東西；那是馨香的氣味，是神所悅納、所喜悅的祭物。我的神將按照他榮耀的豐盛，在基督耶穌裡滿足你們一切的需要。

其實敬神加上知足，才是極大的得利之道。實際上，我們沒有帶什麼到世上來，也不能帶什麼去。不過有了吃的、穿的，我們將以此為滿足。

你要依靠耶和華，要行善事，在地上安居，並要以信實為糧；

因為神不是不公正的，以致忘記你們的工作和你們為他的名所顯出的愛，就是你們先前和如今服事聖徒時所顯出的愛。

請你們在主裡以聖徒配得的方式來歡迎她。無論她在什麼事上需要你們，都請你們幫助她，因為她實在幫助了許多人，也幫助了我。

除了我僕人們所吃的以及同行的亞乃、以實革和幔利所應得的份，我什麼都不要；讓他們拿去所應得的份吧。」

巴爾兹萊很老了，已經八十歲。王住在瑪哈念的時候，他供應了王，因為他是一個非常富有的人。王對巴爾兹萊說：「你與我一起過去吧，我會在耶路撒冷、在我的身邊供養你。」巴爾兹萊對王說：「我就算與王一起上耶路撒冷，還能活多少年日呢？我現在已經八十歲了，還能辨別好壞嗎？難道你的僕人還能品嘗所吃的、所喝的嗎？難道我還能聽出男女歌唱的聲音嗎？你的僕人何必成為我主我王額外的負擔呢？僕人只不過是陪同王過約旦河，王何必以這樣的賞賜恩待我呢？請讓僕人回去吧，我要死在本鄉，靠近我父母的墳墓。看哪，你的僕人金罕在這裡，讓他與我主我王一同過去吧。你看怎樣好，就怎樣對待他。」王說：「就讓金罕與我一同過去，我必按你看為好的對待他。你希望我做的一切，我都會為你成全。」

耶穌對他們說：「你們在路上什麼都不要帶。不要帶手杖，不要帶行囊，不要帶食物，不要帶銀子，每個人也不要帶兩件衣服。你們無論進哪一家，就要住在那裡，也要從那裡再出發。如果他們不接受你們，你們離開那城的時候，要把腳上的塵土跺掉，做為對他們的見證。」

你們行事為人不要愛錢財，要以現有的為滿足，因為神自己說過：「我絕不撇下你，也絕不離棄你。」

在士師們治理的日子裡，猶大地有了饑荒。猶大的伯利恆有一個人，帶著他的妻子和兩個兒子，去摩押地寄居。這人名叫以利米勒，他的妻子名叫娜娥米，他兩個兒子，一個叫瑪倫，一個叫基連；他們是猶大伯利恆的以法他人；他們來到摩押地，就在那裡住了下來。後來，娜娥米的丈夫以利米勒死了，留下她和她的兩個兒子。兩個兒子各自娶了摩押女子為妻，一個叫娥珥巴，另一個叫路得；他們在那裡住了大約十年。
