There at Riblah, in the land of Hamath, the king had them executed. So Judah went into captivity, away from her land.

否則，今天我叫天地作證，你們必很快從約旦河對面將要佔領的土地上滅亡，你們必被徹底消滅，不得在那裡長久居住。

使他們的遭遇令天下萬國驚懼。在我流放他們去的地方，他們必受凌辱、嘲笑、譏諷和咒詛。我要使戰爭、饑荒和瘟疫臨到他們，直到他們在我賜給他們和他們祖先的土地上滅亡。』」

所以，我要使你們被擄到大馬士革以外的地方。」這是耶和華說的，祂的名字是萬軍之上帝。

我是耶和華，我的話都必實現，決不遲延。你們這叛逆的人啊，我說的話必在你們有生之年應驗！」這是主耶和華說的。耶和華對我說：「人子啊，你看，以色列人在說，『他見的異象是關乎多年後的事，他說的預言是針對遙遠的未來。』因此，你要對他們說，『主耶和華這樣說，我的話必應驗，不再遲延。』這是主耶和華說的。」

我要把你們驅散到各國，還要拔刀追殺你們。你們的土地將荒廢，城邑將淪為廢墟。你們被擄到敵國的時候，你們的土地將荒廢，享受安息。你們住在那裡的時候，沒有在安息年讓土地安息，因此土地在荒廢的日子裡將享受安息。

於是，耶和華棄絕了以色列全族，使他們飽嚐痛苦，任人宰割，直至把他們從自己眼前趕走。

我要召集北方各族和我的僕人巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，去攻擊這片土地和其中的居民以及周圍各國。我要徹底毀滅他們，使他們的下場很可怕、令人嗤笑、土地永遠荒涼。這是耶和華說的。我要使他們的歡樂聲、新郎新娘的歡笑聲、推磨聲和燈光都消失。整片土地要變得荒涼可怕，他們要臣服於巴比倫王七十年。
