The Lord sent Babylonian, Aramean, Moabite and Ammonite raiders against him to destroy Judah, in accordance with the word of the Lord proclaimed by his servants the prophets.

The Lord sent robbers against Jehoiakim from Babylon, Aram, Moab and Ammon. He sent them to destroy Judah. That’s what the Lord had said would happen. He had spoken that message through his servants the prophets.

And the Lord sent against him bands of the Chaldeans and bands of the Syrians and bands of the Moabites and bands of the Ammonites, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the Lord that he spoke by his servants the prophets.

看哪！我要打发人去征召北方的众族，和我的仆人巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，领他们来攻击这地和这地的居民，以及周围的列国；我要把他们彻底消灭，使他们成为令人惊骇，受人嗤笑的对象，和永远荒废的地方。”这是耶和华的宣告。

于是四围的列国从各地来攻击它，把他们的网撒在它身上，把它困在他们的坑中。

于是王为他们预备盛大的宴会；他们吃喝完了，王打发他们离去，他们就回到他们的主人那里去了。从此，亚兰的军队不再侵犯以色列地了。

因此耶和华这样说：‘看哪！我必把这城交在迦勒底人的手中，交在巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒的手中，他必攻取这城。

所以，为你们的缘故，锡安必像被耕种的田地，耶路撒冷必变为乱堆，这殿的山要成为丛林中的高冈。

他还在说话的时候，又有人来说：“迦勒底人分成三队突袭骆驼，把它们掳去，又用刀杀了仆人，只有我一个人逃脱，来向你报告。”

于是我说：“主啊，这要到几时为止呢？”他回答说：“直到城镇荒凉，无人居住；房屋空置无人，地土废弃荒凉。耶和华要把人迁到远方，在这境内必有很多被撇下的地土。

他们从远地而来，从天边而来。就是耶和华和他恼怒的工具，要毁灭这全地。

以利沙死了，也埋葬了。摩押人常在每年春天入侵以色列地。有人正在埋葬死人的时候，看见一群来侵略的人，他们就把死尸丢在以利沙的坟上，随即走了。死尸碰着以利沙的骨头就复活了，双脚站了起来。

我就必使这殿像示罗一样，使这城成为地上列国咒诅的对象。’”

曾有一个人，就是基列．耶琳人示玛雅的儿子乌利亚，他奉耶和华的名说预言，攻击这城和这地，他的预言和耶利米所说的一样。

因此耶和华领亚述王的将帅来攻打他们，用钩子钩着玛拿西，用铜链锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。

“耶和华必使灾难的日子临到你和你的人民，以及你的父家，自从以法莲脱离犹大以来，未曾有过这样的日子，就是亚述王的入侵。”

“耶和华必从远方，从地极把一国的民带来，像鹰一般飞来攻击你；这民的语言你不会听；这民脸无羞耻，不顾老年人的情面，也不恩待青年人。
