He deported all the residents of Jerusalem, including all the officials and all the soldiers( 10,000 people in all). This included all the craftsmen and those who worked with metal. No one was left except for the poorest among the people of the land.

He carried all Jerusalem into exile: all the officers and fighting men, and all the skilled workers and artisans— a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left.

Nebuchadnezzar took all the people of Jerusalem to the land of Babylon as prisoners. That included all the officers and fighting men. It also included all the skilled workers. The total number of prisoners was 10,000. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

The king of Babylon deported to Babylon all the soldiers( there were 7,000), as well as 1,000 craftsmen and metal workers. This included all the best warriors.

In the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month, while I was among the exiles at the Kebar River, the heavens opened and I saw a divine vision.( On the fifth day of the month– it was the fifth year of King Jehoiachin’s exile–

Now some of the officers of the Judean army and their troops had been hiding in the countryside. They heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam to govern the country. They also heard that he had been put in charge over the men, women, and children from the poorer classes of the land who had not been carried off into exile in Babylon.

so it would be a lowly kingdom which could not rise on its own but must keep its treaty with him in order to stand.

But he left behind some of the poor and gave them fields and vineyards.

The LORD showed me two baskets of figs sitting before his temple. This happened after King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon deported Jehoiakim’s son, King Jeconiah of Judah. He deported him and the leaders of Judah, along with the craftsmen and metal workers, and took them to Babylon.One basket had very good-looking figs in it. They looked like those that had ripened early. The other basket had very bad-looking figs in it, so bad they could not be eaten.The LORD said to me,“ What do you see, Jeremiah?” I answered,“ I see figs. The good ones look very good. But the bad ones look very bad, so bad that they cannot be eaten.”The LORD said to me,“ I, the LORD, the God of Israel, say:‘ The exiles whom I sent away from here to the land of Babylon are like those good figs. I consider them to be good.

Then the Ziphites went up to Saul at Gibeah and said,“ Isn’t David hiding among us in the strongholds at Horesh on the hill of Hakilah, south of Jeshimon?Now at your own discretion, O king, come down. Delivering him into the king’s hand will be our responsibility.”Saul replied,“ May you be blessed by the LORD, for you have had compassion on me.Go and make further arrangements. Determine precisely where he is and who has seen him there, for I am told that he is extremely cunning.

He sent it after King Jeconiah, the queen mother, the palace officials, the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen, and the metal workers had been exiled from Jerusalem.

But he left behind in the land of Judah some of the poor people who owned nothing. He gave them fields and vineyards at that time.

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem. He did evil in the sight of the LORD.At the beginning of the year King Nebuchadnezzar ordered him to be brought to Babylon, along with the valuable items in the LORD’s temple. In his place he made his relative Zedekiah king over Judah and Jerusalem.
