He carried all Jerusalem into exile: all the officers and fighting men, and all the skilled workers and artisans— a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left.

Nebuchadnezzar took all the people of Jerusalem to the land of Babylon as prisoners. That included all the officers and fighting men. It also included all the skilled workers. The total number of prisoners was 10,000. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

He carried away all Jerusalem and all the officials and all the mighty men of valor, 10,000 captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained, except the poorest people of the land.

King Nebuchadnezzar took all of Jerusalem captive, including all the commanders and the best of the soldiers, craftsmen, and artisans— 10,000 in all. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

至於那地最貧窮的人，護衛長把他們留下，去修理葡萄園和耕種田地。

以下是尼布甲尼撒擄去的人民的數目：在他執政第七年，有猶大人三千零二十三名；

還有七千位戰士，一千位工匠和鐵匠，全都是能作戰的勇士，巴比倫王把他們都擄到巴比倫去。

第三十年四月五日，我正在迦巴魯河邊的時候，天開了，我就看見神的異象；那時，我是在被擄的人中間。（當天是約雅斤王被擄後第五年四月五日。

在田野的眾將領和他們的士兵，聽見巴比倫王委派了亞希甘的兒子基大利管理那地，也委派他管理那些沒有被擄到巴比倫去的男人、婦女、孩童，和那地最貧窮的人，

使國衰微，不能再興盛，唯有謹守條約他才可以繼續存在。

至於那地最貧窮的人，護衛長尼布撒拉旦把他們留下，去修理葡萄園和耕種田地。

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒把猶大王約雅敬的兒子耶哥尼雅，和猶大的眾領袖、工匠與鐵匠從耶路撒冷擄到巴比倫去。這事以後，耶和華使我看見在耶和華的殿前面擺著兩筐無花果。一筐是極好的無花果，像初熟的無花果；另一筐是極壞的無花果，壞到不能吃。於是耶和華問我：“耶利米啊，你看見甚麼？”我回答：“我看見無花果。那些好的無花果極好，壞的卻極壞，壞到不能吃。”耶和華的話臨到我，說：“耶和華以色列的神這樣說：‘被擄去的猶大人，就是我打發離開這地方到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看他們如同這些好的無花果一樣，眷顧他們。

西弗人上到基比亞去見掃羅，說：“大衛不是在我們這裡的何列斯的山寨，就是在曠野南邊的哈基拉山上藏著嗎？王啊，現在請下來，請你隨著你的心願下來，我們必親自把他交在王的手裡。”掃羅說：“願耶和華賜福你們，因為你們關心我。你們要去再確實查看他腳蹤所到的地方，有誰看見他在那裡，因為有人對我說，他非常狡猾。

這是在耶哥尼雅王、太后、宮中的臣宰、猶大和耶路撒冷的領袖、工匠和鐵匠從耶路撒冷被擄走以後。

但護衛長尼布撒拉旦把民中一些一無所有的窮人留在猶大地，同時把葡萄園和田地分給他們。

約雅斤登基的時候，是八歲；他在耶路撒冷作王共三個月零十天，行耶和華看為惡的事。過了年，尼布甲尼撒派人去把約雅斤和耶和華殿裡的珍貴的器皿，一起帶到巴比倫來。他立了約雅斤的叔叔西底家，作猶大和耶路撒冷的王。
