He carried all Jerusalem into exile: all the officers and fighting men, and all the skilled workers and artisans— a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left.

Nebuchadnezzar took all the people of Jerusalem to the land of Babylon as prisoners. That included all the officers and fighting men. It also included all the skilled workers. The total number of prisoners was 10,000. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

He carried away all Jerusalem and all the officials and all the mighty men of valor, 10,000 captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths. None remained, except the poorest people of the land.

King Nebuchadnezzar took all of Jerusalem captive, including all the commanders and the best of the soldiers, craftsmen, and artisans— 10,000 in all. Only the poorest people were left in the land.

至于那地最贫穷的人，护卫长把他们留下，去修理葡萄园和耕种田地。

以下是尼布甲尼撒掳去的人民的数目：在他执政第七年，有犹大人三千零二十三名；

还有七千位战士，一千位工匠和铁匠，全都是能作战的勇士，巴比伦王把他们都掳到巴比伦去。

第三十年四月五日，我正在迦巴鲁河边的时候，天开了，我就看见神的异象；那时，我是在被掳的人中间。（当天是约雅斤王被掳后第五年四月五日。

在田野的众将领和他们的士兵，听见巴比伦王委派了亚希甘的儿子基大利管理那地，也委派他管理那些没有被掳到巴比伦去的男人、妇女、孩童，和那地最贫穷的人，

使国衰微，不能再兴盛，唯有谨守条约他才可以继续存在。

至于那地最贫穷的人，护卫长尼布撒拉旦把他们留下，去修理葡萄园和耕种田地。

巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒把犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅，和犹大的众领袖、工匠与铁匠从耶路撒冷掳到巴比伦去。这事以后，耶和华使我看见在耶和华的殿前面摆着两筐无花果。一筐是极好的无花果，像初熟的无花果；另一筐是极坏的无花果，坏到不能吃。于是耶和华问我：“耶利米啊，你看见什么？”我回答：“我看见无花果。那些好的无花果极好，坏的却极坏，坏到不能吃。”耶和华的话临到我，说：“耶和华以色列的神这样说：‘被掳去的犹大人，就是我打发离开这地方到迦勒底人之地去的，我必看他们如同这些好的无花果一样，眷顾他们。

西弗人上到基比亚去见扫罗，说：“大卫不是在我们这里的何列斯的山寨，就是在旷野南边的哈基拉山上藏着吗？王啊，现在请下来，请你随着你的心愿下来，我们必亲自把他交在王的手里。”扫罗说：“愿耶和华赐福你们，因为你们关心我。你们要去再确实查看他脚踪所到的地方，有谁看见他在那里，因为有人对我说，他非常狡猾。

这是在耶哥尼雅王、太后、宫中的臣宰、犹大和耶路撒冷的领袖、工匠和铁匠从耶路撒冷被掳走以后。

但护卫长尼布撒拉旦把民中一些一无所有的穷人留在犹大地，同时把葡萄园和田地分给他们。

约雅斤登基的时候，是八岁；他在耶路撒冷作王共三个月零十天，行耶和华看为恶的事。过了年，尼布甲尼撒派人去把约雅斤和耶和华殿里的珍贵的器皿，一起带到巴比伦来。他立了约雅斤的叔叔西底家，作犹大和耶路撒冷的王。
