The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the priests next in rank and the doorkeepers to remove from the temple of the Lord all the articles made for Baal and Asherah and all the starry hosts. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron Valley and took the ashes to Bethel.

Certain things in the Lord’ s temple had been made to honor other gods. They were the god named Baal, the female god named Asherah and all the stars in the sky. The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest to remove those things. The king ordered the priests who were next in rank and the men who guarded the doors to help Hilkiah. Josiah took those things that had been in the Lord’ s temple and burned them outside Jerusalem. He burned them in the fields in the Kidron Valley. And he took the ashes to Bethel.

And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second order and the keepers of the threshold to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.

Then the king instructed Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second rank and the Temple gatekeepers to remove from the Lord’s Temple all the articles that were used to worship Baal, Asherah, and all the powers of the heavens. The king had all these things burned outside Jerusalem on the terraces of the Kidron Valley, and he carried the ashes away to Bethel.

Then the king commanded the high priest Hilkiah and the priests of the second rank and the doorkeepers to bring out of the LORD’s sanctuary all the articles made for Baal, Asherah, and all the stars in the sky. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.

Then the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, the priests of the second order, and the doorkeepers to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the utensils that had been made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the heavenly lights; and he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron Valley, and carried their ashes to Bethel.

And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.

The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the high-ranking priests, and the guards to bring out of the LORD’s temple all the items that were used in the worship of Baal, Asherah, and all the stars of the sky. The king burned them outside of Jerusalem in the terraces of Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.

那时，祭司长和百姓的长老聚集在那称为该亚法的大祭司的院里。

耶稣说了这些话，就同门徒出去，过了汲沦溪。在那里有一个园子，他和门徒进去了。

你们岂可偷盗，杀害，奸淫，起假誓，向巴力烧香，随从素不认识的别神，

此外，在伯特利丘坛的坛，就是尼八的儿子耶罗波安所筑、使以色列人陷入罪里的，他也把这坛和丘坛都拆毁了，又焚烧丘坛，打碎成灰，并焚烧了亚舍拉。

门口守卫的班次如下：可拉族以比雅撒的子孙中，有可利的儿子米施利米雅。米施利米雅的长子是撒迦利亚，次子是耶叠，三子是西巴第雅，四子是耶提聂，五子是以拦，六子是约哈难，七子是以利约乃。俄别‧以东的长子是示玛雅，次子是约萨拔，三子是约亚，四子是沙甲，五子是拿坦业，六子是亚米利，七子是以萨迦，八子是毗乌利太，因为神赐福给俄别‧以东。他的儿子示玛雅生了几个儿子，都是大能的勇士，管理父亲的家。示玛雅的儿子是俄得尼、利法益、俄备得、以利萨巴。以利萨巴的兄弟以利户和西玛迦是能人。这些都是俄别‧以东的子孙，他们和他们的儿子，以及兄弟，都是善于办事的能人。属俄别‧以东的共六十二人。米施利米雅的儿子和兄弟都是能人，共十八人。米拉利子孙中的何萨有几个儿子：为首的是申利；他原不是长子，是他父亲立他为首的，次子是希勒家，三子是底巴利雅，四子是撒迦利亚。何萨的儿子和兄弟共十三人。这些是门口守卫的班次，各随他们的班长，与他们的兄弟一同在耶和华殿里按班供职。他们无论大小，都按着父系抽签，分守各门。抽到东门的是示利米雅；他的儿子撒迦利亚是精明的谋士，抽到北门。俄别‧以东守南门，他的儿子守仓库。书聘与何萨守西门，在靠近沙利基门、通往上去的街道上，守卫与守卫相对。东门有六个利未人，北门每日有四人，南门每日有四人，库房有两人轮流替换。至于走廊，在西面街道上有四人，在走廊上有两人。以上是可拉子孙和米拉利子孙门口守卫的班次。

到了早晨，众祭司长和百姓的长老商议要处死耶稣，

发现以利亚撒子孙中作领袖的，比以他玛子孙中作领袖的更多，就分班如下：以利亚撒的子孙中有十六个族长，以他玛的子孙中有八个族长。他们抽签分配，彼此一样。在圣所和神面前作领袖的有以利亚撒的子孙，也有以他玛的子孙。作书记的利未人拿坦业的儿子示玛雅在王和领袖，与撒督祭司、亚比亚他的儿子亚希米勒，以及祭司和利未人的族长面前记录他们的名字；在以利亚撒的子孙中取一族，在以他玛的子孙中也取一族。抽签的时候，第一签抽到的是耶何雅立，第二是耶大雅，第三是哈琳，第四是梭琳，第五是玛基雅，第六是米雅民，第七是哈歌斯，第八是亚比雅，第九是耶书亚，第十是示迦尼，第十一是以利亚实，第十二是雅金，第十三是胡巴，第十四是耶是比押，第十五是璧迦，第十六是音麦，第十七是希悉，第十八是哈辟悉，第十九是毗他希雅，第二十是以西结，第二十一是雅斤，第二十二是迦末，第二十三是第来雅，第二十四是玛西亚。这就是他们事奉的班次，要照耶和华—以色列的神藉他们祖宗亚伦所吩咐的条例，进入耶和华的殿办理事务。
