「祭祀別神，不單單祭祀耶和華的，那人必要滅絕。

耶戶獻完了燔祭，就出來吩咐護衛兵和眾軍長說：「你們進去殺他們，不容一人出來！」護衛兵和軍長就用刀殺他們，將屍首拋出去，便到巴力廟的城去了，

將他們祭司的骸骨燒在壇上，潔淨了猶大和耶路撒冷；

以利亞對他們說：「拿住巴力的先知，不容一人逃脫！」眾人就拿住他們。以利亞帶他們到基順河邊，在那裏殺了他們。

神人奉耶和華的命向壇呼叫，說：「壇哪，壇哪！耶和華如此說：大衛家裏必生一個兒子，名叫約西亞，他必將邱壇的祭司，就是在你上面燒香的，殺在你上面，人的骨頭也必燒在你上面。」

耶和華的刀滿了血，用脂油和羊羔、公山羊的血，並公綿羊腰子的脂油滋潤的；因為耶和華在波斯拉有獻祭的事，在以東地大行殺戮。

那先知或是那做夢的既用言語叛逆那領你們出埃及地、救贖你脫離為奴之家的耶和華－你們的神，要勾引你離開耶和華－你神所吩咐你行的道，你便要將他治死。這樣，就把那惡從你們中間除掉。

萬軍之耶和華說：「那日，我必從地上除滅偶像的名，不再被人記念；也必使這地不再有假先知與污穢的靈。若再有人說預言，生他的父母必對他說：『你不得存活，因為你託耶和華的名說假預言。』生他的父母在他說預言的時候，要將他刺透。
